Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books of 2017

Top Ten Tuesday

Hey guys!! It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday. This is a meme hosted every Tuesday by the lovely The Broke and the Bookish. This was a tough one because I’ve read a lot of good reads this year. I was debating adding comics to this but I decided to just stick with books. I know the year isn’t over yet, so if I do read anymore amazing books I will make sure to update this list.

So let’s see what my choices for Top Ten Books are 2017 are:

The Wife Between UsThe Wife Between Us By Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen

Reason: Wow this was hands down such an amazing thriller. I was completely shocked by all the twists. I did not see them coming. I can’t wait for this to be released next month so everyone can read it!

A List Of CagesA List Of Cages By Robin Roe

Reason: I heard a lot of amazing things about this book and it did not disappoint. It is one of the most heart breaking books I read this year. Even though it was extremely upsetting I loved every second of this book.

Hunting Prince Dracula Hunting Prince Dracula By Kerri Maniscalco

Reason: I loved Kerri’s first book but she really outdid herself with this one. I felt like I really fell in love with the characters in this book. She also did an amazing job with the atmosphere and the location of this story. Title of book three can’t come soon enough.

Pretty GirlsPretty Girls By Karin Slaughter

Reason: I am so upset with myself for taking so long to read a Karin Slaughter book. This hands down was one of my favorite reads. I remember after reading this I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I was going on to tell my friends the graphic details of this book. I can’t wait to read more from her.

Night FilmNight Film By Marisha Pessl

Reason: This book had been on my TBR for a while. I was a little scared of the page count but I’m so happy I read it this year. I didn’t find it very scary but it was super enjoyable. It has so much mixed media that really adds to the story. This is a book I would love to get myself a copy.

CinderCinder By Marissa Meyer

Reason: I found myself really enjoying the first book of this series a lot. I loved the twist on the classic Cinderella story. It was fun and very unexpected. I will be checking out more from Marissa Meyer in the future.

StarflightStarflight By Melissa Landers

Reason: I found this book to be such a fun and exciting ride. I don’t read too many Sci-fi books but I found it exciting from beginning to end. I would love for this to be made into a movie. This is a book I can see myself rereading when I wanna go on an adventure without leaving my house.

The Girl You LostThe Girl You Lost By Kathryn Croft

Reason: This is a book I got from Netgalley last year but I didn’t end up reading. I was so upset that it took me so long to read this. Kathryn knows how to keep you wanting more after each chapter. I find myself getting creeped out at times and not too many books have done that to me. I can’t wait to read Kathryn’s other works. I highly recommend her newest release Silent Lies.

27 The Truth About Forever

The Truth About Forever By Sarah Dessen

Reason: I really enjoyed this story a lot. I loved all the characters in this book. It has such a great message behind. I really wish I had read it sooner. Better late than never. Just thinking about it really makes me want to reread it. Too bad I have a bunch of other books to catch up on before the year ends. 😦

17 Mr. Mercedes

Mr. Mercedes By Stephen King

Reason: I loved every second of this book so much. It was such a crazy ride but I loved every second of it. I am currently reading the last book in the series and I can’t wait to see how this story ends. I highly recommend this series and highly recommend audiobook.
