Down The TBR Hole #24

Hey guys! It’s time for another Down the TBR Hole which was created by Lia @Lost In A Story! I keep deleting books from my TBR only to add a couple of new ones to it. It’s just so hard to stop myself. This is why I have over 600 books on my TBR. Alright, let’s try to lower that number a bit today.

• Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
• Order on ascending date added.
• Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
• Read the synopses of the books
• Decide: keep it or should it go?

The fact that I  will be repeating this process every week means that I have to keep track of where I ended and where I’m going to continue. E.g. in week one I do book 1 – 5, in week two book 6 – 10, and so on, until I’ve filtered out my entire TBR.

The Lost Girls: An Unsolved American Mystery By Robert Kolker

I really want to get into true crime more. It sounds super interesting. It also has a seal of approval from Karin Slaughter. She is becoming one of my favorite authors. So I’ll have to give this one a chance.

This book has a lot of mixed reviews. I think I’m just going to steer clear of this one.

All Fall Down By Jennifer Weiner

This is a book I feel I keep on my list solely for the cover. It has a roller coaster on the cover. I’m a huge fan of roller coasters. Sadly it’s not about a theme park or anything. I think I’m going to have to pass on this one.

Fables, Vol. 19: Snow White By Bill Willingham, Mark Buckingham (Illustrator), Shawn McManus (Illustrator)

So for some reason I had volume 21 on my tbr but not the one I was currently up to. Anyway I changed it to my current volume. I don’t know why I haven’t finished it. I guess I’m sad for the story to almost be over. It’s a shame because I don’t remember what happened. Once I catch up to my Goodreads goal, I’ll finish this series.

So I have recently been getting into Sarah Dessen. (I never read her books when I was a teenager) I’m a little skeptical about this one after her latest book. I want to give this book a chance.

I think I added this to my TBR because they were making a tv show out of it. Idr what happened with the tv show. I also don’t really have much interest in reading the book.

So when I heard Fear Street was getting relauched I was really excited. I grew up reading the Fear Street books. I think I might have the arc of this. I’m not sure. I would like to check this out.

This book sounds good. After reading a review about it. I think I’m going to pass on it. It sounds like it could be good but from what I read I don’t think I’m going to enjoy it as much.
