Hey guys! It’s time for another Down the TBR Hole which was created by Lia @Lost In A Story!
- Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
The fact that I will be repeating this process every week means that I have to keep track of where I ended and where I’m going to continue. E.g. in week one I do book 1 – 5, in week two book 6 – 10, and so on, until I’ve filtered out my entire TBR.
The Wrath & The Dawn By Renee Ahdieh
I’ve been wanting to read this series for such a long time. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Renne Ahdieh’s writing. I’m excited to check out this series at some point.

Sick in the Head: Conversations About Life and Comedy By Judd Apatow
I keep hoping this book would get an audiobook. Judd Apatow has worked with so many great comedians. In this book he has some conversations with them. I think that would have been fun to hear on audio. I still really want to read this.
Judgement: Keep
Dexter is Dead By Jeff Lindsay
I’m pretty sure I added this to my TBR when I heard about this book. I was reading the Dexter books at the time. I figured I would be done with the series by then. I’m very behind. So for now I’m going to remove it. Once I catch up, I will be reading this.
Judgement: Go
Madame Bovary By Gustave Flaubert
This is a book I added to my list because I’ve heard so many people talk about it. It’s such a classic. However this isn’t a book I have much interest reading. It sounds great but not really up my alley.
Judgement: Go
The Great Expectations By Charles Dickens
I honestly don’t have any interest in reading this one. I added this because it’s a classic book but right now I have no draw to it.
Judgement: Go
Boy21 By Matthew Quick
I honestly thought this book was a completely different book. I read the summary for this and I don’t really have much interest in reading it.
Judgement: Go
Remember Me This Way By Sabine Durrant
I wasn’t sure about this book. I was looking at reviews and it seems like most the people who read it really enjoyed it. I would like to give it a chance.
Judgement: Keep
Liars, Inc By Paula Stokes
This is another book I no longer have any interest in reading. The plot doesn’t really interest me like it once did.
Judgement: Go
Summer Secrets By Jane Green
I’m trying to figure out why I added this book to my TBR. I am really not sure why. I don’t have any interest in this book. If I keep it on my TBR it’s just going to keep sitting there.
Judgement: Go
Swerve By Vicki Pettersson
This book seems super interesting. I am very intrigued by the plot. I wish there was more to it.
Judgment: Keep
TBR Start Number: 643
Number of Books Kept: 4 Books
Number of Books Gotten Rid of: 6 Books

Have you guys read any of these books? I would love to hear your thoughts if you had.

I really need to read it. Someone else commented about it saying how much they loved it. I’m going to be looking for it next time I go to the library.

The Wrath & The Dawn By Renee Ahdieh was a good, the others I have not read. I think I read it in a day or two.

The Wrath & The Dawn keeps getting brought up so now I’m like really excited to read it. Once I get rid of some of the books I have from the library I’m going to pick it up. I can’t wait to read it.

Maybe if you buy the gorgeous cover editions of classics, you’ll get that extra bit of motivation to read it (always works for me :p)
