Hey guys! Wow I can’t believe next week will be my 30th Down the TBR Hole post. It feels like it’s been ages since I started this. I can’t wait to see how this week is going to go. Let’s get to it!
- Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
The fact that I will be repeating this process every week means that I have to keep track of where I ended and where I’m going to continue. E.g. in week one I do book 1 – 5, in week two book 6 – 10, and so on, until I’ve filtered out my entire TBR.
The Well By Catherine Chanter
This is a book I don’t remember adding to my TBR at all. I was going to reread the summary but it is very long. I was looking at the ratings and I think this is going to be one I pass on.
In Wilderness By Diane Thomas
This is another book I don’t remember adding to my list. Rereading the summary it’s not a book I’m really interested in.
Freedom’s Child By Jax Miller
I know this is going to be another if I end up keeping it on my list it’s just going to sit there. It does sound interesting to me but from reviews I think I’m just going to end up passing on it.
The Convictions of John Delahunt By Andrew Hughes
This book seems interesting. It also said it was based on true events. I am going to give this book a shot.
The Jezebel Remedy By Martin Clark
I read the summary of this book and I wasn’t totally convinced I wanted to read it. I kept seeing mixed comments from people on this one. I think I’m going to let this one pass.
The Vacationers By Emma Straub
This is a book I have been wanting to read for a while now. I’m almost picked it up a couple times. I know I will get to this at some point.
Jaws By Peter Benchley
Okay guys so I have never seen the movie. When I heard that it was a book I needed to add it to my list. I have been on the Jaws ride when that was a thing.
Light in August By William Faulkner
This is a book I know right away I’m probably going to never get to read.
Seating Arrangements By Maggie Shipstead
I was reading the summary and was feeling iffy about the plot. I went to look at reviews and they were very mixed. I am just going to pass on this book.
Summerlong By Dean Bakopoulos
A part of me wanted to keep this on the list because of the cover. I don’t know what it is but I just love books with pools on the cover. I am so drawn to them. Sadly though the summary doesn’t really pull me in.
