WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words and to participate all you have to do is answer the three W’s listed below. Once you’ve posted your WWW, drop a link to your post in Sam’s comments <3’s!
The questions are:
1. What are you currently reading?
2. What did you recently finish reading?
3. What do you think you’ll read next?
Hey guys! So I thought I would do something new on my blog. I’ve been seeing this around for a while now. I always like seeing what people have been reading lately and what they plan to read. I thought I’d join in on the fun as well. I am always trying to find new things to do on my blog. So let’s dive in!
Currently Reading
Still Me By Jojo Moyes
I was a little skeptical when I heard there would be a third book in the Me Before You series. I liked the second book but I didn’t love it. I put the audiobook on hold and it recently became available. I have to say I’m loving this book so much. The narrator is perfect for this book. She does different voices and really has that Louisa charm. It’s so well done. I am excited to see what happens in the end.
Every Exquisite Thing By Matthew Quick
I read The Silver Lining Playbook by Matthew Quick, years ago and really loved it. So him coming out with new books has always been on my radar. This book was a book my friend told me was really good and I had to get it. I went and bought it and it just sat on my shelf. I am honestly so sad it took me so long to get to. I am so happy I picked this for my buddy read. I am really enjoying it a lot. Matthew Quick is an amazing writer. All I want to do is just keep reading. I am super excited to see what ends up happening in this book. I hope there is a good outcome.
A Game of Thrones By George R. R. Martin
Well this is a book I finally took the plunge and decided to read. I have been reading this since January. I’m really enjoying it, it’s just very dense. The good thing is this is very similar to season 1 of the show so I know majority of what is happening. It’s just nice knowing the greater detail of things. I really would like to finish it either this month or next. Hopefully before I go away in July.
Recently Finished
Emergency Contact By Mary H.K. Choi
I’m still deciding if I want to post a full review on this book. I have to say I felt it was a little bit hyped up for me. I enjoyed it but I wasn’t in love with the book. I really didn’t like the main female character. I did really like Sam a lot. I thought their relationship was cute. I was rooting for them the whole book. Overall a decent contemporary.
Reading Next
Mean Girls By Micol Ostow
So Buzzword Readathon is happening this week. I put Mean Girls on my TBR before I even knew this was happening. I thought I’d attempt to just read this once I finish Still Me. I don’t think it will be a long read. I also really haven’t heard much about this. I’m curious to see if it’s good or not. I am a little bit skeptical. Interested to see how it goes.
LifeLik3 By Jay Kristoff
I got into The Illuminae Files after listening to the audio. So I thought I’d request LifeLik3 by Jay Kristoff. I got approved of an e-arc. Then I saw there was a blog tour for it so I decided to sign up. I got in! So my post is for next week so I need to make sure to read it before then. I honestly don’t know what this is about. I am excited to see. I am really liking the cover.
So that is it for my first WWW Wednesday post. I had a lot of fun with this. I can see myself doing this a lot more. What are some books you read, finished, and plan on reading soon? Any of the books above? I would love to hear from you guys in the comments below!
I want to read a game of thrones, especially since I haven’t seen the series but I get so intimidated by the size. Plus, I don’t think I can handle it’s dark theme 😁 Congrats for joining the blog tour. I’ve heard great things about Lifelik3 so hope you enjoy it!

Yeah I was always intimidated by the size as well. I just decided to take the plunge. It’s been taking me 5 months to read so it’s a slow process. I understand what you’re saying. His books are very dark. There is a lot of messed up things that happened in the book. Thank you so much! I actually started it. It’s very different from what I usually read so trying to keep an open mind when reading it.

I actually just read the Mean Girls book and it was a bit disappointing. It’s the movie in book form. I was hoping for something different. Thankfully since I saw the movie so many times I was able to breeze through it.
