I reread the summary for this and I honestly don’t have interest in reading this anymore. I’m going to pass on it.

My Best Friend’s Exorcism By Grady Hendrix
This book seems super different from any other books I’ve read. Plus I know a lot of people I follow gave this one really great reviews. Plus I’m in love with the paperback edition so I’m really going to need to check this out at some point.

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer By Michelle Hodkin
This is a series I’ve been wanting to read for a while now. I’m a bit surprised I haven’t picked this up because I know the series is over. I’ve heard pretty good things about this series. I will also have to check this out. Hopefully soon.

The Versions of Us By Laura Barnett
The concept of this book sounds awesome. I love that it shows you the same story but with different outcomes and how things could have been. The only problem I am having with this is how people are saying this is a hard story to follow. I already get confused when too many characters are introduced. I can see myself getting things mixed up. Sadly I’m going to pass.

When We Collided By Emery Lord
I have heard a lot of good things about Emery’s books. I haven’t read any yet but I really want to. I know her books are also pretty sad. I think that’s why I have been putting this one off for so long.

The Devil You Know By Elisabeth de Mariaffi
This book has a lot of mixed reviews for it. I’m going to go with my gut and just skip it all together. I know if I leave this on my TBR I’m just going to end up forgetting about it anyway.

In Case of Emergency By Courtney Moreno
I reread the summary and I’m not drawn into this book like I once was. I’m going to end up passing on this one.

Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library By Chris Grabenstein
This sounds like such a fun book. I feel when I added this I didn’t realize it’s a series. It’s a series I can see myself not getting to for a while. I’m going to remove it and keep it in the back of my mind. I’ll add it again in the future if it intrigues me again.

I Hunt Killers By Barry Lyga
Two summers ago when I worked at the library I remember always seeing this book. It was on my list but I never got to it. I still really want to read though. I know it has a lot of great ratings so I am excited to read it. I’ve just been slacking.

Shatter Me By Tahereh Mafi
I know the latest book for this series came out this year. I don’t know much about it but I know it’s a popular series. I want to give this one a try because I am a bit curious about it. I’ll pick it up at some point.

I have the same issue with The Versions of Us. I have the kindle version and I don’t want to start a story that will confuse me, especially if I can’t go back to some part easily!

Ah yeah it’s such a shame because it sounds like such an interesting concept. I just know a lot of people said they got confused so I feel like I’ll be one of those people too.

I want to read Shatter Me series and The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer too.. so that’s a good decision to keep 🙂 They are on my TBR as well haha.. Yeah, I also have a problem adding books to my TBR haha.. Good luck!!

Yeah I know both are very popular series and I’m still interested in reading them so I thought why not lol. Yeah it’s so hard not to add books to your TBR. I can’t control myself.

My bestfriend exorcist and The versions of us do looks good … but as I know I got lost in a book that had kind of the same idea as the latter … eeerh… not sure I wanna get in the pool.

You should! I really enjoy doing this. It helps remind me of some books I’ve forgotten too. It is nice to clear my shelf. I am happy to say I finally got under 600 on my last Down the TBR hole. I hope it stays that way.
Yeah I feel sometimes if a story is too similar to other stories then I don’t really want to bother with it unless I know I see other people I know really liked it. I just have so many books to read so don’t want to bother sometimes.

It is really fun to do and it’s nice to remove stuff. Some of these books I’ve had on my TBR for years and I know I’ll never get to them so it’s nice to remove them.

The one summer I worked at the library I would always see it but I never picked it up. Seeing it pop up on my TBR made me a little sad I didn’t.
