Currently Reading
A Game of Thrones By George R. R. Martin
I have been reading this since January. I finally got over 30 pages into it but every time I want to read it I get distracted. I am going to aim to finish this in June because I’d really like to move on to the second one soon. Hopefully I can plan something where I listen to a couple of chapters a day.
A Court of Thorns and Roses By Sarah J. Maas
So I know I am very late to this series. I have been putting this off for the last two years. I am not sure why it took me so long to pick it up. I don’t know how I really feel about it. It did take me some time to get into it. I know it’s suppose to get a lot better in the second book so I am pushing along to get to that.
Recently Finished
The Wicked Deep By Shea Ernshaw
So this was a book I have been seeing a lot of people talk about. I was so excited to read it. I have to I really liked the concept of the story. I really enjoyed it. However I just really disliked the ending. I was very disappointed with it. I feel if the ending was different I would have probably this book a higher rating. I’m hoping to have a review up soon.
Reading Next
The Death of Mrs. Westaway By Ruth Ware
If you know me, then you know I am anxiously waiting to read this book. I have been excited for it the moment I heard about it. I was really bummed when I got denied the e-arc on Netgalley but thankfully my amazing friend, Jenna, is sending me an arc. So I seriously can’t wait to read this soon.
NOS4A2 By Joe Hill
So I’m doing a buddy read with 3 amazing other ladies. We have been taking turns picking what book we want to read. Now it’s Jenna’s turn to pick a book. She ended up picking this. This has been on my TBR for a while now. I can’t wait to read this one. I am not really sure what it’s about but I am very excited to check it out.
What are some books you read, finished, and plan on reading soon? Any of the books above? I would love to hear from you guys in the comments below!

I loved the first seasons of the show, but I’ve never been able to digest Martin’s writing!

Yeah I understand what you mean. I think that’s why it’s taking me so long. I really need to focus on it.

There are 33 people ahead of my on my library’s waitlist for The Death of Mrs. Westaway. I’ll get it… eventually, I guess.
The Joe Hill book looks interesting. I really enjoyed Horns, and the Fireman was pretty decent.

I hope it ends up going fast! I’ve been hearing good things about it.
I read Horns by Joe Hill and I enjoyed it. I own the Fireman but haven’t read it yet. I’m doing a buddy read for NOS4A2. I am excited to read it cause it’s been on my TBR for a while.

I’ve been trudging through Game of Thrones for about a year….true story. And I’m a little late to ACoTaR myself and hope to pick it up here soon – I was just anxious it wouldn’t live up to the hype, but decided to give it a go. I hope you enjoy it more soon. I can’t wait to read your review on The Wicked Deep!

Yeah I feel Game of Thrones is an intense read. I overall thought ACOTAR wasn’t bad. I finished it. I am excited to read the next one. I posted my The Wicked Deep review on Friday. I liked it but then the ending wasn’t my favorite.
