Down The TBR Hole #39

Hey guys! It’s time for another Down the TBR Hole which was created by Lia @Lost In A Story! I can’t believe I am almost at my 40th post of this. I still have a long way to go but I hope in the next couple months I can bring my total of books down to under 500. So let’s dive into this week.

The Light of the FirefliesThe Light of the Fireflies By Paul Pen and Simon Bruni (Translator)

So this is a book I picked for free from amazon for being a prime member. I mean this book sounds interesting it’s just at the top of my list. I feel like I’ll just keep it on my list because I have the ebook on my kindle. So maybe one day I’ll feel like reading it.

Under a Silent MoonUnder a Silent Moon By Elizabeth Haynes

So I’m really torn about this book. I previously read a book by Elizabeth Haynes and I didn’t really enjoy it. I will give Elizabeth Haynes another chance. I think I’m going to try another standalone first. If I end up enjoying that I’ll try this series.

Fool Me OnceFool Me Once By Harlan Coben

This book sounds so good. I really want to read this. I really need to read a Harlan Coben book soon. I’ve heard such good things about his books, I just haven’t picked one up yet.

Our Endless Numbered DaysOur Endless Numbered Days By Claire Fuller

Honestly this book doesn’t sound very interesting. There are just so many more books I want to read. I know if I keep this I’ll end up forgetting about it.

Paper AeroplanesPaper Aeroplanes By Dawn O’Porter

This is another book I’ve added to my TBR in the past and now I just don’t have any interest in reading it anymore.

The Snow ChildThe Snow Child By Eowyn Ivey

I’m honestly not too sure why I added this book to my TBR. I’m not really interested in the summary. I must have added it because I heard someone talking about how good it was. It’s just not the story for me.

Tell the Wolves I'm HomeTell the Wolves I’m Home By Carol Rifka Brunt

This book seems really interesting. It also ends up having a lot of good reviews. I’m going to keep it on my list and give it a shot

The PassageThe Passage By Justin Cronin

This book has a lot of great reviews. I just ended up rereading the summary and it just doesn’t really interest me. It’s not grabbing me to pick it up. I’m just going to let this one go.

We Are the AntsWe Are the Ants By Shaun David Hutchinson

This is a book I’ve heard nothing but great things about. I almost picked it up from the library last time I went. I know I really need to read this soon.

Who Do You LoveWho Do You Love By Jennifer Weiner

I bought this book a while back at one of the sales my library was having. It sounds like a really cute chick lit. I’m going to keep it on my list for now.

    1. I think it’s free for the month of June online. I just hauled a ton of books so right now I need to focus on the books I own. I heard nothing but amazing things so it is up there on my TBR.

    1. Oh yeah I feel everyone who has read We are the ants has said nothing but great things about it. I just need to focus on the books I own rn cause it is a lot. I hauled a lot this past week. Oh I bet reading The Light of Fireflies would be fun in spanish. The author is spanish right? I wish I could read in spanish. I studied it but I don’t remember much. This is a lot of fun. I have a huge TBR so it’s really nice going through it and trying to lower the number.
