Hey guys! So like I’ve said in my past posts, I haven’t been seeing many movies the last couple months. I’m going to try to watch more movies this month especially since it’s October and I wanna watch some spooky movies to get into the season. I feel September was one of my favorite months for movies. I didn’t see a lot but I really enjoyed each movie I watched. So let’s dive in!
The Raid: Redemption Directed By Gareth Evans
Genre: Action, Thriller
Runtime: 101 mins
Released: April 13 2012
Rating: R
Plot: A S.W.A.T. team becomes trapped in a tenement run by a ruthless mobster and his army of killers and thugs.
My Thoughts: This was a movie my boyfriend really wanted to watch. He heard it had amazing fight scenes in it. I have to say the movie was very enjoyable. There was not a dull scene in this movie. It was action pack from start to finish. The fight scenes were very well choreographed. If you like action movies, I highly suggest this one.
Searching Directed By Aneesh Chaganty
Genre: Drama, Mystery, Thriller
Runtime: 102 mins
Released: August 31 2018
Rating: PG-13
Plot: After his 16-year-old daughter goes missing, a desperate father breaks into her laptop to look for clues to find her.
My Thoughts: I was really excited to see this movie. I had watched a review for this movie and it sounded amazing. I thought it was awesome how the story was told through the computer and phone. This movie ended up flying by. I was invested in the story the whole way through. I needed to know what happened to his daughter. I don’t usually like watching thrillers but this has become one of my favorites.
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Directed By Susan Johnson
Genre: Drama, Romance
Runtime: 99 mins
Released: August 17 2018
Rating: TV-14
Plot: A teenage girl’s secret love letters are exposed and wreak havoc on her love life.
My Thoughts: So I really wanted to read the book before I watched the movie. However I just kept hearing such amazing things about it, I just had to watch it. I ended up really enjoying this a lot. I am a sucker for a good romance movie. This played with all my emotions. It was adorable and I ended up loving every second of it. I do plan to watch it again soon. I can’t wait to read the book as well.
What movies did you guys see in September? Any movies you recommend I watch? Have you seen any of the movies I listed? I would love to hear your thoughts!

I really enjoyed Searching. I think you’ll enjoy it. It was an interesting take on a mystery by only showing things through technology. I really need to watch The Incredibles 2.
