Down the TBR Hole #57

Hey guys! It’s time for another Down the TBR Hole which was created by Lia @Lost In A Story! I have been happy with how these have been going lately. I am excited to see if I can get under 400 books. That would be amazing. So let’s dive in!

How to Break a BoyHow to Break a Boy By Laurie Devore

So right away one of the categories for this book is Did Not Finish. So that does not really seem like a good sign to me. I am going to pass on this book.

My Not So Perfect LifeMy Not So Perfect Life By Sophie Kinsella

This sounded like a fun read. It’s about a character who goes out of her way to make her life seem better on instagram. I feel that is something that happens a lot nowadays with social media being so popular and we post and get likes. I have never read anything from Sophie Kinsella and I really want to check this out.

Into the WaterInto the Water By Paula Hawkins

So I read Girl on the Train and thought it was okay. I ended up hearing mixed things about this one. I always like to give authors second chances so I thought I’d try this. Plus I ended up winning this book last year so might as well try it.

The Hating GameThe Hating Game By Sally Thorne

I found out about this book from the reading community. I don’t normally go for romance books but I heard such great things. I really want to check it out. I am interested to see how it goes.

The Forgotten GirlsThe Forgotten Girls By Sara Blaedel, Signe Rød Golly (translator)

So apparently this is the 7th book in a series. So I am going to remove it. Maybe add the first one to my list if it sounds interesting to me.

The Kingdom KeepersDisney After Dark By Ridley Pearson, David Frankland (Illustrations)

The moment I heard about this series it sounded awesome! I knew it was a book I had to check out. It just sounds so awesome. Plus they are middle grade so I can see them being quick reads.

The ScatteringThe Scattering By Kimberly McCreight

Kimberly is a local author who I have met twice now. I wasn’t a huge fan of the first book in the series but I decided I wanted to continue on and see how the next book goes.

The Color ProjectThe Color Project By Sierra Abrams

So I know this author is popular in the book community. She then got her book published. So I am a little skeptical about reading this since I know people who were friends with her read and rated it. I think I am going to still check it out though. Plus I also won this is a giveaway so doesn’t hurt to try.

The Perfect StrangerThe Perfect Stranger By Megan Miranda

I read one of Megan’s book in the past. I thought it was okay. I wasn’t a huge fan of it. I am currently reading another one of her books. I am enjoying it a lot more. I like how different it is from other mysteries. I still want to check this one out as well.
