Hey guys!!! It’s time again for another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is Freebie. So I decided to do one from last year I did which was, Top Ten Books I Hope Santa Brings. I tried not to ask for too many this year because I have so many that I have yet to read. I can’t help myself. I just love getting new books. I ended up putting 8 on my list. So the first 8 will be ones I asked for and the last two will be ones I didn’t. So let’s dive in!
Skin Deep By Liz Nugent
Reason: Liz Nugent has become one of my favorite authors. Both books I’ve read by her have been 5 stars for me. She is amazing at writing character driven stories. I am just so blown away by her writing. Sadly this book isn’t available in the U.S. yet but I just need to get my hands on it a.s.a.p.
Rough Riders Vol. 3: Ride Or Die By Adam Glass, Patrick Olliffe , Gabe Eltaeb , Sal Cipriano , Mike Marts
Reason: This comic series has become one of my favorite series. It honestly something I was excepting to like as much as I did but it’s so enjoyable. I love the group of people that come together in this and have to work together. I didn’t get to pick this up when it came out so I had to ask for it for Christmas. It’s very underrated.
My Best Friend’s Exorcism By Grady Hendrix
Reason: So I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about this book so it’s been on my TBR for a little while now. I’m not in a rush to read this. I feel I just put this on my list because of the paperback cover. I mean I feel I really need to own that.
Obsidio By Amie Kaufman, and Jay Kristoff
Reason: Well this year I decided to listen to the first two books in the series by audiobook. That ended up being a fun experience. I wasn’t really a fan of the first book but the audiobook changed my mind. They did such a great job with both of these. So I’ve been wanting to finish the series for a while now. I wanted to pick it up when it came out but didn’t so decided to ask for it for Christmas.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo By Taylor Jenkins Reid
Reason: So I honestly should be giving everyone in my life a copy of this book. I realized too late this year. I do hope to remember next year because this book was amazing. I have already read this. I was just skeptical and didn’t think I would like it so I got it from the library. I ended up falling in love and the rest is history. I honestly need a copy in my life. I kinda want to ask for the audiobook too because it was so well done.
Archenemies By Marissa Meyer
Reason: So I haven’t read the first book in this series. I did get to meet Marissa and get it signed by her. I wanted to read it before the release of Archenemies but that didn’t happen. I have been hearing a bit of mixed things about this but I’m going to not worry about it until I get to it. I do plan to read these books next year. I am excited to check them out cause I’ve heard great things about Renegades. I also wanted the series to be completed.
And Then There Were None and Other Classic Mysteries (Barnes & Noble Collectible Editions) By Agatha Christie
Reason: So I already own And Then There Were None but I just really needed this version of it. It’s beautiful. This collection does have stories I haven’t read yet so that was another reason. I don’t usually collect different versions of books but I needed this.
Murder on the Orient Express and Other Hercule Poirot Mysteries (Barnes & Noble Collectible Editions) By Agatha Christie
Reason: I also already own Murder on the Orient Express. I wasn’t a huge fan but once again I just needed this version of it. It’s so pretty. I couldn’t pass it up. Plus like the other collection it has stories I haven’t read yet. I do want to read more Hercule Poirot Mysteries.
Behind Her Eyes By Sarah Pinborough
Reason: This is a book I have been wanting to get to for a while now. I have heard that the ending will completely surprise you. I have been dying to know what this ending is for a while now. I have almost bought it a couple times but never did. I really want to check this one out.
A Curious Beginning By Deanna Raybourn
Reason: So I have heard a couple of booktubers talk about this book. It sounds like the adult version of Stalking Jack the Ripper. It seems like it’s set around the same time in the same setting. It just sounds right up my alley. Plus I’m in love with the covers.
Well I can’t wait to see what Santa actually brings me this year. I would love to get all the books if I could.

Yasss Obsidio!! I want to read it so badly but then again I don’t because the series will be over 😦 Loved this post, I hope you end up getting the books 🙂

I want to read it too. I read the first two at the beginning leaning up to Obsidio and then never picked up Obsidio. I need to have the book and the audio book to get the full experience.
