Hey guys! So I honestly didn’t buy that many books in November. I have been trying to cut down on buying books. I feel it’s been working out well. I have been buying a small amount of books. I really need to read the books I own. I am going to try to buy less and read more. I hope I can do that in 2019. Now let’s dive in to see the books I bought in November.
Plot: Ghouls live among us, the same as normal people in every way—except for their craving for human flesh.
Ken Kaneki is an ordinary college student until a violent encounter turns him into the first half-human half-Ghoul hybrid. Trapped between two worlds, he must survive Ghoul turf wars, learn more about Ghoul society and master his new powers.
This monstrously massive compendium of Tokyo Ghoul volumes 1-3 contains the early days of Ken Kaneki’s struggle to navigate two worlds, survive Ghoul turf wars, learn more about Ghoul society and master his new powers. This hefty tome—with extra-large archival pages showcasing Sui Ishida’s art and all the color art from the VIZ graphic novels—is perfect for megafans to gorge on.
Girls of Paper and Fire By Natasha Ngan
Plot: Each year, eight beautiful girls are chosen as Paper Girls to serve the king. It’s the highest honor they could hope for…and the most cruel.
But this year, there’s a ninth girl. And instead of paper, she’s made of fire.
In this lush fantasy, Lei is a member of the Paper caste, the lowest and most oppressed class in Ikhara. She lives in a remote village with her father, where the decade-old trauma of watching her mother snatched by royal guards still haunts her. Now, the guards are back, and this time it’s Lei they’re after–the girl whose golden eyes have piqued the king’s interest.
Over weeks of training in the opulent but stifling palace, Lei and eight other girls learn the skills and charm that befit being a king’s consort. But Lei isn’t content to watch her fate consume her. Instead, she does the unthinkable–she falls in love. Her forbidden romance becomes enmeshed with an explosive plot that threatens the very foundation of Ikhara, and Lei, still the wide-eyed country girl at heart, must decide just how far she’s willing to go for justice and revenge.
The Afterlife of Holly Chase By Cynthia Hand
Plot: On Christmas Eve five years ago, Holly was visited by three ghosts who showed her how selfish and spoiled she’d become. They tried to convince her to mend her ways.
She didn’t.
And then she died.
Now she’s stuck working for the top-secret company Project Scrooge–as the latest Ghost of Christmas Past.
Every year, they save another miserly grouch. Every year, Holly stays frozen at seventeen while her family and friends go on living without her. So far, Holly’s afterlife has been miserable.
But this year, everything is about to change. . . .

I’d love to! I might not be able to get to it until February, would that be okay? I understand if you don’t want to wait, though.
