Hey guys!!! It’s time again for another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is The Ten Most Recent Additions to My To-Read List. So I haven’t been putting too many books on my TBR lately. I have been doing Down The TBR Hole for a while now. I have been trying to add books I know I’m really interested in. I think in the past I would just add something just so I wouldn’t forget the name. So I’m trying to be a bit more picky. So now let’s dive in to see what my most recent additions are!
One Day in December By Josie Silver
So I recently discovered this book mid-December. I really wanted to read it but things ended up being a lot busier than I thought they’d be. So I didn’t get to it. I do hope to pick it up this December.
So right now this book has no release date, cover, or even summary. I just know that I need it asap. I ended up reading the Arc of Scythe series last year. I immediately regretted not reading it a lot sooner because it’s soo good. If you think the first one is good just you wait until you read the second one. I can not wait for more information to be released.
The Perfect Girlfriend By Karen Hamilton
So if you know me, you know I love thrillers. I randomly heard about this one and it peaked my interest. It has been getting a lot of really good reviews on goodreads so I am very intrigued by this. I am very excited to check it out when it comes out in March.
The Escape Room By Megan Goldin
I think this thriller sounds really interesting. I feel a lot of the ones I read had such a similar concept it’s always nice when it’s something different. I like the idea of them having to escape from the elevator. It sounds like it’ll be an exciting read.
Two Can Keep a Secret By Karen M. McManus
So I read One of Us is Lying in 2017 and really enjoyed it. When I heard Karen M. McManus was coming out with a second book I was so excited. I don’t know too much about this one but I like that when it comes to thrillers. I do have this on hold at the library. I believe they got it in and are processing it. I can’t wait to get my hands on it soon!
In 2017 I also read a book by Lisa Jewell which I really ended up liking a lot. I got approved for another one of her books on Netgalley which I have yet to read. I hope to pick it up for Thrillerathon next month. I heard a lot of good things about this book as well so I had to add it to my TBR.
The Missing Years By Lexie Elliott
So Lexie Elliott is an author who debuted last year. I ended up really enjoying her book a lot. So I was excited to see she had another one coming out this year. This is another one I don’t know really anything about. I am interested to see how this one is especially being her second novel.
The Favorite Daughter By Kaira Rouda
So in 2017 when I went to BookCon, I got an arc of Kaira Rouda’s book Best Day Ever. I ended up really enjoying that book. So when I saw she had one coming out this year, I knew I wanted to check it out. I also don’t know much about this one.
The Visible Filth By Nathan Ballingrud
So I had never heard of this novella until recently. Apparently they are planning to turn it into a movie. It’s suppose to be coming out sometime this year. It sounds like something I’d be into. So I’d figure I could read the novella before the movie comes out.
My Lovely Wife By Samantha Downing
So this is advertised as a mashup of Dexter and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I can see this being an action packed book. It has been getting a lot of good reviews. So I figured I would add it to my list. I am always looking for new thriller authors to check out.
Have you read any of these or gotten them early? What are some of you’re recently added books to your TBR? I would love to hear about them!
One of my favorite things is the fact that you read so many thrillers, which I rarely do & because of you, I can learn about so many new books! ❤ ALSO, I have Two Can Keep a Secret if you want to read it together once you get it!

I read a few books by Lisa Jewell a couple of years ago. They were mostly adult contemporary fiction (no smut) and they were really great. I read Ralph’s Party, One Hit Wonder, Thirty-Nothing and A Friend of the Family. If you’re into that sort of thing, I recommend them.
