Hey guys! It’s time for another Down The TBR Hole which was created by Lia @Lost In A Story! It’s been a couple weeks since I did my last Down The TBR Hole. I just wanted to take a short break but it’s back. I can’t believe I’m almost at the end of my TBR. I have been trying to read more books I own so I am seeing the number go down just from that. My goal is to 400 books by the end of this but we shall see. So let’s dive in to this week’s books.
The Diviners By Libba Bray
The Diviners is a book I have heard a lot about through the bookish community. I know a lot of people really enjoy this book. I love the idea that this takes place during the 1920s which just sounds awesome to me. I really want to read this at some point.

These Shallow Graves By Jennifer Donnelly
I think the story of this sounds really interesting. Plus I’m really curious to learn what happened to her father. Reviews for this book seem that a lot of people enjoyed it. I hope I end up liking it too.

Capturing the Devil By Kerri Maniscalco
I honestly need this book in my life asap. I am so bummed I have to wait until September for the release. I really enjoy this series a lot. I can’t wait to see how it ends.

The Girl With No Past By Kathryn Croft
So about two years ago I ended up reading Kathyrn’s book, The Girl You Lost. I ended up really enjoying it. It’s a book I don’t really hear people talking about. So I knew I had to check out more from Kathryn. This seems to be her most popular and well known book so I have been wanting to check it out. I have the audiobook for it.

Baby Teeth By Zoje Stage
So this book has a lot of mixed reviews. Some people really enjoy it and others not so much. I remember one of my friends read it and she said it wasn’t really a thriller. I do have an e-arc of it that I have been meaning to get to. I am curious to see what I think of it.

The Woman in the Window By A.J. Finn
So this book took 2018 by storm. So many people were talking about how amazing this book was especially for a debut author. It also even has a movie deal. I really want to see if this book is worth the hype.

I’m Thinking of Ending Things By Iain Reid
So I have heard some really good things about this book. It is being turned into a movie. So I really would like to read the book before the movie comes out.

The Social Affair By Britney King
I think this was another book I added to my TBR because I heard everyone talking about how good it was. I like that it deals with social media. Plus it’s under 300 pages so whenever I pick it up, it seems like it will be a quick read.

The Intruder By Phil Hogan
So for the longest time I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to read this book. I couldn’t find it online. Then I finally decided to see if it has a different name. It does. I am very intrigued by this because the plot sounds very different from a lot of the thrillers I pick up. I’m interested in finally being able to check this out.

Adjustment Day By Chuck Palahniuk
I honestly can’t see myself picking up this book anytime soon. I honestly kinda forgot about it until I saw it on the list. Maybe in the future but for now I’m just going to remove it from my TBR.
Judgement: Go
TBR Start Number: 462
Number of Books Kept: 9 Books
Number of Books Gotten Rid of: 1 Books
Current Number on TBR: 461
Have you guys read any of these books? I would love to hear your thoughts if you had.
Did you catch the news about AJ Finn aka Dan Mallory this month? 🤐

I did. I think it’s horrible what he did to get himself to the top. That is just wild to me. Happy to see someone found him out.

Surprisingly I have not read a single book on this list, but I have heard a lot of good things about them. I know The Diviners is on my eventual list.

I have heard nothing but great things about The Diviners. That is a book I really want to check out. The 1920s have always interested me so I think it would be fun to read a book set in that time period.

The 1920s are always fun to read about, such carefree partying and a sense of anything is possible.

Maybe I’ll pick it for a buddy read in the future. I don’t think any of us have read it.

Not that I can think of, that would be a fun pick.

After I said that I was looking at the book on goodreads and I didn’t believe we have. I deff will be asking once it’s my turn to pick again.
