Down The TBR Hole #69

Hey guys! It’s time for another Down The TBR Hole which was created by Lia @Lost In A Story! I have been slowly getting rid of books from my TBR that I recently uhauled. So the number has gone down a little bit. So there may be a chance of me getting my TBR under 400 maybe. Anyway let’s dive into this week’s books.

LegendaryLegendary By Stephanie Garber

So I read the first book to this series last year. I thought it was interesting but it wasn’t what I was expecting. This book had a lot of hype around it and that was my main reason for picking it up. Honestly I don’t really remember the first one and I don’t really want to reread it. So sadly I’m not going to pick up this book.

King of FoolsKing of Fools By Amanda Foody

So I loved Ace of Shades when I read it last year. I loved the characters and just the world itself. I thought it was such a great time. So I knew this is a series I really want to continue. I actually got accepted for the e-arc of this. It’s on my March TBR. So I will be picking this up after I reread Ace of Shades.

The Wicker KingThe Wicker King By K. Ancrum

So this was a book that wasn’t really on my radar until I read a review for it. It sounded very interesting. I really like that the pages get darker as the story does, which just sounds so cool! I have never seen that in a book before so I am very interested in that. I have heard lovely things about it. I can’t wait to pick it up.

Before We MetBefore We Met By Lucie Whitehouse

So I had heard about this book from Lala from Booksandlala. She is one of my favorite booktubers. She also really enjoys mystery/thrillers. This was a book I haven’t heard of before so I had to add it to my TBR. I know she really enjoyed it. So I’m very excited to see what I think of it.

Gunslinger GirlGunslinger Girl By Lyndsay Ely

So I have never read a western book. I do enjoy western movies so I want to give this one a shot. I’m very interested to see what I think because it seems to have a bit of a mix review. Hopefully I end up enjoying it.

The Other Side of EverythingThe Other Side of Everything By Lauren Doyle Owens

I honestly don’t really remember where I found this book from. I’m no longer interested in reading it so I’m going to take it off my TBR.

Not Even BonesNot Even Bones By Rebecca Schaeffer

This book sounded super interesting so I had to add it to my TBR. I really hope I am able to pick it up in the next couple of months. It sounds like I’ll really enjoy this.

Her Pretty FaceHer Pretty Face By Robyn Harding

This was another thriller I heard good things about from Lala from Booksandlala. So I decided I had to add it to my TBR.

The Traitor Baru CormorantThe Traitor Baru Cormorant By Seth Dickinson

This book sounds very interesting but I feel it’s just not the book for me. A part of me wants to read it because so many other people liked it but at the same time it’s not really I lean towards. Maybe I will pick it up in the future.

Pretty Little SecretsPretty Little Secrets By Sara Shepard

So a while back I was really into the Pretty Little Liars books. They were a guilty pleasure of mine. I read the series when there was suppose to only be about 8 books. Then Sara decided to add a bunch more books. I decided I wanted to finish the series. So this is the book I got up to. I think I’m going to give it a try cause I am curious to see how the final story ends.

    1. Yeah it’s like you don’t think much at first when you’re adding all these books to your TBR then one day it’s like you have 500 books on it and like that just gets overwhelming.

I do highly recommend this. It’s fun and makes you feel a lot better seeing the number go down.

  1. I’ve been debating whether to read Caraval or not for a long time, but it’s mainly because of the hype as well. The Wicker King seems like a good book to keep on the list, it does sound intriguing! Fun post!
