Kiss Me, I’m Irish! Book Tag

Hey guys I am so excited for this tag. I decided I would post this today since it’s St. Patrick’s Day. I wasn’t tagged in this but I found it from Brittany @ Beauty and The Bean Boots. It looked fun so I couldn’t pass it up.

Green: Book With a Green Cover

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn HugoThe Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo By Taylor Jenkins Reid

So I had to go with the first book I thought of. I did see some other really good choices as I was scrolling to find this in my media but I had to pick this. This book is hands down one of my favorite reads. It’s a book I seriously can’t wait to reread very soon. I can’t help to root for Evelyn Hugo.

Blarney: A Book that Deceived You into Liking It or It Was Over-Hyped and You Ended Up Disliking It

Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens AgendaSimon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda By Becky Albertalli

This is a book I really wanted to like. I was so excited to read it. I finally decided to pick it up last year because of the movie. Well I am sad to say I didn’t really like this book. I think the main problem with it was Becky’s writing. I just found myself really bored majority of the book. Plus I wasn’t a big fan of Simon’s friends. In the end I ended up liking the movie more.

Brogue (Dialect): A Book Where One of the Characters Has an Accent

unraveling oliverUnraveling Oliver By Liz Nugent

So this book takes place in Ireland. I ended up reading this book on audio and all the characters had accents and I just absolutely loved it. It was such a great thriller. I highly recommend this book.

Leprechaun: A Book You Enjoyed When You Were Young

3. Trial by JournalTrial By Jury Journal By Kate Klise and Illustrated By M. Sarah Klise

So surprisingly this was a book I had to read for school. I remember picking it up and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. I barley remember the story but it had so many fun pictures and doodles. It ended up being such a great read. A part of me really wants to pick it up again just to refresh.

Pot of Gold: A Book That Cost You a Lot or is of Great Value to You

A Life in PartsA Life In Parts By Bryan Cranston

I’m a huge Bryan Cranston fan. I love Breaking Bad. When I saw there was a website where I could get a signed edition, I decided to treat myself for my birthday. So I ended up spending a bit extra on this book so I could have it signed.

Four-Leaf Clover or Shamrock: Four Leaves = More Than One Book, Pick Your Current or Old Favorite Series

ScytheScythe By Neal Shusterman

I am honestly so mad that it took me so long to pick up this book. This book was good but then the second book came out and stole it’s thunder. (hehe second book is called thunderhead) Anyway this was such an amazing series. I was so upset when I finished Thunderhead and realized the third book doesn’t even have a release date so that upset me. I need the third book asap.

Magic: A Book that You Found Magical or a Book Where You Enjoyed a Magic Element That Was Found in the Story Line

Beasts of Extraordinary CircumstanceBeasts of Extraordinary Circumstance By Ruth Emmie Lang

This book was another huge surprise to me. I ended up loving it. It is another favorite of mine from 2018. I also really want to reread this one very soon. This book had a lot of realistic magic in it. It honestly was just such a great read and everyone should pick it up.

Kiss: Your Current Favorite Book Pairing or Your All-Time Favorite Book Pairing

Stalking Jack the RipperStalking Jack The Ripper By Kerri Maniscalco

I love Audrey and Thomas. I just love the banter between. I love seeing their relationship grow throughout the series. I am so excited to see how the last and final book is. It can’t come soon enough.

Luck: A Book on Your Shelf That You Will Luckily Get To… Someday

ItIT By Stephen King

The main reason I haven’t picked this book up yet is because of the size of it. I am scared to pick it up because it’s so big. I am just worried that I’ll start it and then forget about it or something and then go months without reading it. I keep telling myself I will but I never do. I just need to muscle through and read it.

Jig: A Book That You Don’t Currently Own But If You Could Get a Hold of It, It Would Make You Dance With Joy

Lock Every DoorLock Every Door By Riley Sager

I have been talking about this book a bit. I read Riley’s two previous books and ended up really liking them. So when I heard he had a new one coming out, I was so excited. I am hoping to get an e-arc closer to release. We shall see how that goes. *fingers crossed*

    1. Right that book was a crazy ride. I know a lot of people weren’t too happy with the whole romance in it. I still enjoyed it. I am so excited to see how she’s going to end it but also sad cause I don’t want the series to be over.

      1. How could they not be happy with one of the most perfect romances ever?!!! I love how its not forced and to be honest its one of the more realistic romances in a book that I’ve ever read!!! I was hoping that this series would go on for a lot more than four books, It is sooo sad to think of it ending!!! I’m not usually one to like historical fiction very much but these books were some of the best books I’ve read. I love them!!

      2. I know people weren’t happy with the whole love triangle that happened in the third book. It really is an enjoyable romance. They’re always just bantering with each other. I think that’s just so fun. Yeah I would love to see them tackle other famous killers. Yeah I feel you historical fiction isn’t really my thing either but this I really like.
