March Movie Wrap-up

Hey guys! I am excited to share with you the movies I watched in March. I honestly didn’t watch as many as I’d hoped. I really would like to try to watch some more in April. I do have some from the library I’ve been meaning to get to. Plus there are some movies that are out and some coming out soon that I really would like to get to. So let’s dive in and see what I watched!

Spider-Man Into the Spider-VerseSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Directed By Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman

Genre: Animation, Action, Adventure, Family, Sci-fi
Runtime: 117 mins
Released: December 14th 2018
Rating: PG

Plot: Miles Morales is a New York teen struggling with school, friends and, on top of that, being the new Spider-Man. When he comes across Peter Parker, the erstwhile saviour of New York, in the multiverse, Miles must train to become the new protector of his city.

My Thoughts: So I had heard a lot of really good things about this movie so I was really excited to see it. I have to say I loved it so much. I thought it was so well done. The animation was the best part. I just really loved seeing all these art styles come together. They ended up working together so well. Plus I really enjoyed the story. I definitely want to rewatch this again.

CluelessClueless Directed Amy Heckerling

Genre: Comedy, Romance
Runtime: 97 mins
Released: July 15th 1995
Rating: PG-13

Plot: Cher, a high school student in Beverly Hills, must survive the ups and downs of adolescent life. Her external demeanor at first seems superficial, but rather it hides her wit, charm, and intelligence which help her to deal with relationships, friends, family, school, and the all-important teenage social life.

My Thoughts: One thing to know about me is that Clueless is hands down one of my favorite movies of all time. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched this movie. The moment I saw the movie by my house was playing it with a dinner menu just for it I had to go. I just love everything about this movie. It’s also the movie that sparked my love for Paul Rudd. I mean he’s just adorable in this. Plus I just love seeing Cher grow as a person throughout the movie. If you haven’t watched this movie you need to. *cough Jenna *cough*

What movies did you guys see in March? Any movies you recommend I watch? Have you seen any of the movies I listed? I would love to hear your thoughts!

  1. I didn’t think I’d enjoy Spider-Man, but I actually really loved it! My husband and I have been listening to the soundtrack pretty nonstop this month. This week I rewatched Twilight and New Moon and fell in love with the series all over again.

    1. It wasn’t really on my radar until I saw it one the best animated at the Oscars. I totally understood what the hype was a about. It was such an amazing movie and so well done. I do need to refresh myself with the soundtrack but from what I remember I enjoyed it. I am so glad you ended up really loving it too. Oh that’s fun. It’s always nice falling back in love with something you once really liked.

  2. Into the Spider-Verse is going in my top ten films of the year for me. This year I am doing my top 20 2019 movies and then a separate list of just the best films of the year (no matter the year it came out as long as I have never seen it).

    1. Right now it’s my favorite movie that I’ve seen so far. I gave it 5 stars and would totally watch again in a heart beat. It was so well done. Oh yay I am looking forward to both those lists. I love seeing all the movies people ended up enjoying throughout the year.
