Hey guys!!! It’s time again for another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is Books I Enjoyed That Are Outside of My Comfort Zone. I am excited for this one because it shows me I need to try reading more outside my comfort zone. I usually stick to thrillers and contemporaries but will try to branch out every once in a while which is fun. I just need to do it more. Anyway let’s dive in and see what books out of my comfort zone I enjoyed.
1. The Storm Crow By Kalyn Josephson
2. The Devouring Gray By Christine Lynn Herman
3. Long Way Down By Jason Reynolds
4. Last Call at the Nightshade Lounge By Paul Krueger
5. The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding By Alexandra Bracken
8. Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstance By Ruth Emmie Lang
9. Tokyo Ghoul, Vol. 1 By Sui Ishida, Joe Yamazaki
10. Illuminae By Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
So those are the books I enjoyed that are out of my comfort zone. I really need to branch out more because these were all great reads. I did pick up some of these because of the hype and other ones because a friend wanted to read it. If you know any books similar to these please let me know.
What are some books that you enjoyed that are out of your comfort zone? I would really love to hear from you guys in the comments below.

The Storm Crow looks pretty cool! As for a book I enjoyed out of my comfort zone was, Sometime After Midnight by L. Philips. I don’t usually read contemporary, but I thought this one was super adorable. 🤗

The Storm Crow was such a good book. It wasn’t on my radar until I decided to do a buddy read with my friend. We both really enjoyed it a lot. Oh I love contemporaries and haven’t heard of that one. I will have to check that one out.

«Illuminae» is a very unique and entertaining book, so glad that you enjoyed it!
I also would love to try more manga / comics / graphic novels and Tokyo Ghoul sounds very interesting.

I read Illuminae and wasn’t a fan but then I picked it up on audiobook and it was such a fun experience. They did such a great job with the audiobook.
I would recommend Tokyo Ghoul. It’s really good. I’ve only read the first volume but I own the next two so I need to read those.
