Tag Tuesday: Would You Rather Book Tag

Hey guys! I am coming to you with a fun tag that I saw on Lori @ The Reading Fairy’s Blog. So I thought it would be fun to do for the blog. I have been wanting to do more tags. I haven’t been doing them as of late. I have a ton in my drafts that I need to get to from like years. I have been slacking. I’m trying to get better at that. Anyway let’s dive in to this tag!

Would you rather only read ebooks or audiobooks?

I think I would pick audiobooks. I’m currently in my audiobook phase where all I want to do is listen to audiobooks. Plus sometimes I don’t feel in the mood to physically read which is happening right now.

 

Would you rather kiss the villain of your favourite book/series or hurt your favourite character?

Honestly I would rather kiss the villain. I don’t think I could deal with hurting my favorite character. Sometimes these characters go through so much and I don’t want to do that to them. I wouldn’t be happy about that.

 

Would you rather read all the books you want every single month but barely remember the plot or read 2 books a month but remember everything about them?

I would rather only read 2 books a month. Plus that gives me time to really savor them. It’s funny because the other choice does happen to me sometimes. I do feel that happens more when I’m not super into a book and I want to just finish it.

Would you rather read a book you love while listening to an album you hate or read a book you hate while listening to an album you love?

I would rather read a book I hate while listening to an album I love. I mean if I hate the book then I could just focus more on the music I like. So I feel I wouldn’t be paying as much attention to the book. So probably end up just skimming through it.

 

Would you rather be able to go to your favourite fantasy world but no one can see you or go to a fantasy world you hate but everyone can see you?

Hm I guess I would rather go to my favorite fantasy world but no one could see me. I feel like it would be like reading the book but I can just see everything happening before my eyes. Plus I don’t believe I would last long in some of these situations so rather go unseen.

 

Would you rather only read historical fiction novels or sci-fi?

This one is stumping me more than I thought. On the one fan I’m not super into historical fiction but when it’s historical fiction with mystery, I’ll tend to check it out. I’m just going to assume it’s straight up historical fiction so I’ll go with sci-fi.

 

Would you rather only read the books but never watch the movie/TV show adaptations or only watch the adaptations but never read the books?

Okay so this one is stumping me more than the last question. So sometimes I’ll like the book more than the adaptation and then other times I like the adaptation more. So I’m finding it hard to pick an answer. Can I go like 50/50 on this? Like for some books I read just the book and then other things I just watch the adaptation.

 

Would you rather only read backlist titles or new releases?

I would just read backlist books. I mean new releases would eventually turn into backlist books so I feel that’s a loophole for this one.

 

Would you rather only read standalones or series?

I think I would rather read standalones. I do pick up series every once in a while. I just feel I take longer to finish series. I usually put off reading the books more and then I forget what happened in the last book. So usually just stick to standalones.

 

Would you rather always be able to guess the twist, or never being able to guess the twist?

I would rather never be able to guess the twist. I mean sure I feel proud of myself when I finger things out. There is just something so fun of being so surprised by that twist you didn’t see coming.
