3. What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

The Outsider By Stephen King

I have finally picked up this book! I was supposed to read it when it came out. I have been putting it off. I am trying to get through books I own and figured now was a good time. I’m not far into it, only 5% but so far enjoying it. I do like how short the chapters are. That’s always such a nice feeling especially for a big book

Queen of Volts By Amanda Foody

I can’t believe this is the last book in The Shadow Game series. I’m about 33% into it and I just know this book is going to break me. I don’t think I am prepared for that. I am just so happy to be getting these perspectives from other characters and can’t wait to see how things are going to end.

Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs?: Big Questions from Tiny Mortals About Death By Caitlin Doughty

I haven’t read much of this book but so far I love it. I am so glad I just picked this up on a whim. It’s hilarious and learning a lot about such a taboo subject. I can’t wait to get into this. I have been thinking about purchasing a psychical copy so I might just do that.

Recently Finished

King of Fools By Amanda Foody

So I decided to squeeze in a reread of this before picking up Queen of Volts. I just needed a bit of a refresher on the events that happened in the last book. I do have to say this did help me get hyped for Queen of Volts so I am glad I picked it up. I do have a review of the book which can be found here.

Thunderhead By Neal Shusterman

This also was another reread. I picked this up for a buddy read and so glad I did. I loved this book but didn’t remember a lot of the things that happened in this book. So I am happy I reread this as well. I do hope to pick up The Toll next month. I haven’t read that one yet and have been putting it off. I think it’s because I’m not ready for the story to end yet.

I picked this book up from Netgalley and I really can’t wait to read it. I have been on such a nostalgic kick lately. This just sounds like the perfect read for that. I am really only familiar with one author in this collection but excited to discover some new ones. I would like to read this soon since it comes out next week. I do hope to get to it before then.

What are some books you read, finished, and plan on reading soon? Any of the books above? I would love to hear from you guys in the comments below!
