Blogmas Day 7: Top Ten Tuesday – Wintry Books I’ve Read

Hey guys, it’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. The theme for this week Holiday/Seasonal Freebie. I decided to do Wintry Books I’ve Read. I went through my list of books I’ve read and I don’t think I’ve read too many. I honestly don’t remember if majority of them had wintry scenes. I do feel I like books with water on the cover. That’s probably because I’m not a huge fan of winter. I thought I’d still share this list incase you guys were looking for wintry reads. So let’s dive in!

December Wrap-up

Hey guys! I am back! I ended up taking a bit of a longer break than I thought I would. I had a lot of fun doing Blogmas for majority of December. I was hoping to come back sooner with a blog post but things got really busy. Then I ended up getting sick so that wasn’t fun. Thankfully things have slowed down and I’m feeling a lot better. I am excited to share with you what I read in December. It ended up not being a lot. I had high hopes but since things were so busy I didn’t pick up much. I did enjoy everything that I read so that was a plus. I was really happy about that. Anyway, let’s dive in! Continue reading “December Wrap-up”

Blogmas Day 4: Book Review – 10 Blind Dates By Ashley Elston

10 Blind Dates10 Blind Dates By Ashley Elston

Genre: Contemporary, Romance, Young Adult, Holiday
Pages: 336 pages
Published: October 1st 2019
Publisher: Disney-Hyperion
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars

Synopsis: Sophie wants one thing for Christmas-a little freedom from her overprotective parents. So when they decide to spend Christmas in South Louisiana with her very pregnant older sister, Sophie is looking forward to some much needed private (read: make-out) time with her long-term boyfriend, Griffin. Except it turns out that Griffin wants a little freedom from their relationship. Cue devastation.

Heartbroken, Sophie flees to her grandparents’ house, where the rest of her boisterous extended family is gathered for the holiday. That’s when her nonna devises a (not so) brilliant plan: Over the next ten days, Sophie will be set up on ten different blind dates by different family members. Like her sweet cousin Sara, who sets her up with a hot guy at an exclusive underground party. Or her crazy aunt Patrice, who signs Sophie up for a lead role in a living nativity. With a boy who barely reaches her shoulder. And a screaming baby.

When Griffin turns up unexpectedly and begs for a second chance, Sophie feels more confused than ever. Because maybe, just maybe, she’s started to have feelings for someone else . . . Someone who is definitely not available.

This is going to be the worst Christmas break ever… or is it?
