Down the TBR Hole #32

Hey guys! It’s time for another Down the TBR Hole which was created by Lia @Lost In A Story! I haven’t added much to my TBR in the past week so the number hasn’t gone up which is very exciting. I am so close to being in the 500s and it makes me happy. I hope to get under 500 by the end of the year. Now let’s see what books this week has in store!

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?

The fact that I will be repeating this process every week means that I have to keep track of where I ended and where I’m going to continue. E.g. in week one I do book 1 – 5, in week two book 6 – 10, and so on, until I’ve filtered out my entire TBR.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books on Spring TBR List

Hey guys so I’m switching things up today and doing a Top Ten. I am super excited to do this because not only is it fun for me to switch things up but I hope you guys enjoy it as well. I love doing book reviews but I love making lists and this one sounded really fun. This Top Ten is brought to you by The Broke and The Bookish. Thank you so much for this. I’m excited for this tag.

Saga, Vol 7 By Brian K. Vaughan Saga 7

The ScatteringThe Scattering By Kimberly McCreight

Reason: Kimberly McCreight has become one of my favorite authors and since then I always look forward to what she puts out. This is the second book in The Outliers series. I wasn’t a super huge fan of the first one but I’m hoping this one will end up redeeming the series.

One of Us is LyingOne of Us is Lying By Karen M. McManus

Reason: So this book is basically The Breakfast Club with murder. I feel like this book was made for me. I love mysteries and The Breakfast Club is one of my favorite movies. I am dying for this book to come out. I hate anxiously waiting for May 30th to come around. It is killing. I seriously can not wait. Hands down one of my top anticipated releases of the year.

The Devil Crept InThe Devil Crept In By Ania Ahlborn

Reason: So I got this book with the lovely The Nocturnal Reader’s box. It was the book for the March box which theme was Lost in the Woods. I am not sure what it’s about. I try not to read the summaries of mystery books because I like to be surprised. I am super excited for this one. The cover alone looks amazing. I can’t wait to dig into it soon. If I don’t get a chance this month, I most certainly will put it on my TBR list for April.

StarfallStarfall By Melissa Landers

Reason: Well I just finished up Starflight a couple days ago and I really enjoyed it. I saw there was another book about two of the side characters and jumped right on that. I have it on hold at the library and can’t wait to get my hands on this one.

To Catch A KillerTo Catch A Killer By Sheryl Scarborough

Reason: So I randomly found out about this book. There was a twitter chat going on and you had to describe the book you were reading with only emojis. This book sparked my interest. The other day when I went to the library I saw it on the shelf and had to check it out. I can’t wait to read this one.
