Hey guys! It’s been so long since I’ve done a wrap-up. Last time I did one was in February. My reading ended up being put on hold for a bit and I wasn’t reading a lot. Thankfully I’ve been in a good reading groove. I’ve pretty much been reading books back to back so I’m really happy about that. I’m sure things will slow down with how busy December will be. Anyway, I’m excited to share with you the books I read in November. So let’s dive in!

February Wrap-up
Hey guys! Today I am sharing with you what I ended up reading in February. I did end up reading some of the books on my TBR. I did read a couple that weren’t on my TBR and I feel that has been happening lately. I haven’t been sticking to my TBR 100% which is totally fine. I like switching things up and if something sounds interesting to me and I want to pick it up right away why not. So let’s dive in to see what I ended up reading in February! My February TBR
Hey guys! I am so excited to share with you my February TBR. I didn’t end up doing one last month for January because I barley blogged and I was sick most of the month so my energy was low. I feel I have a lot to read this month. I have a couple of arcs for books coming out in March that I want to get to. I’m also doing some buddy reads. I am also a bit behind on buddy reads. I want to get to those books I’m behind but after I finish my set TBR. So let’s dive in and see what I want to read in February. Continue reading “My February TBR”
Waiting On Wednesday: Other People By C.J. Tudor
The Other People By C.J. Tudor
Genre: Thriller, Mystery, Fiction, Horror, Suspense
Pages: 400 pages
Release Date: January 28th 2020
Publisher: Penguin
Plot: She sleeps, a pale girl in a white room . . .
Three years ago, Gabe saw his daughter taken. In the back of a rusty old car, covered in bumper stickers. He was driving behind the car. He watched her disappear. But no one believes him. Most people believe that his daughter, and wife, are dead. For a while, people believed that Gabe was responsible.
Three years later and Gabe cannot give up hope. Even though he has given up everything else. His home, his job, his old life. He spends his days and nights travelling up and down the motorway, sleeping in his camper van in service stations, searching for the car that took her. Searching for his daughter.
Katie spends a lot of her life in service stations, working as a waitress. She often sees Gabriel, or ‘the thin man’ as she has nicknamed him. She knows his story. She feels for him, because Katie understands what it’s like to lose a loved one. Nine years ago, her father was murdered. It broke her family apart. She hasn’t seen her oldest sister since the day of the funeral; the day she did something terrible.
Fran and her daughter, Alice, put in a lot of miles on the motorway. Not searching. But running. Trying to keep one step ahead of the people that want to hurt them. Because Fran knows the truth. She knows what really happened to Gabe’s daughter. She knows who is responsible. And she knows that if they ever find them, they’re dead.
Why I Need This Book: So I loved The Chalk Man By C.J. Tudor when I read it. It was such a great thriller/mystery. So since then I’ve been buying whatever she writes. I have yet to read The Hiding Place. It is on my TBR. I do hope to read it this year. Since I want to support her, I really would like to read this as well. I don’t want to know much about the story because I feel summaries for thrillers can give things away at times. If it’s anything like The Chalk Man, I know I’ll probably really enjoy this one!
Have you gotten to read this early? If so what are your thoughts on it? If not, are you guys interested in picking this up? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I seriously can’t wait for them to come out!

Blogmas Day 10: Books I Didn’t Get To in 2019
Hey guys! So 2019 has been a wild year for me. I am bummed to say I feel I spent a bit of the portion of the year in a reading slump. I did end up reading but I felt a lot of the books I wasn’t a fan of or took me longer to get through than normal. I am happy to say December is so far looking to be a good month. I have finished 2 books. I slowed down the last couple of days because I just went away. I do hope it will pick up now that I’m back home. (Can I just say this is so weird writing this before I’ve even gone away. I had to write a bunch of posts early. I just know that I won’t get much reading done.) Anywho, let’s dive in and see what books I wanted to read but didn’t this year. Continue reading “Blogmas Day 10: Books I Didn’t Get To in 2019”
Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag #2

Anyway, I have seen this tag going around on youtube and saw some blogger friends post it as well so I thought I’d hop on board and do it. I honestly forgot that I did this last year but I’m excited to do it again! I feel 2019 has been a bit of a difficult reading year for me. I’ve read 38 books so far. I feel this has been a decent reading year. I’ve had some books really stand out and others I haven’t really enjoyed. I also just got out of a bit of a reading slump which I’m glad that’s over with. I do feel I’ve read some enjoyable reads this month so that makes me very happy. So let’s dive in! Continue reading “Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag #2”

I did add some non-thrillers because I do need to switch it up every once in a while. So let’s dive in and see what I’m going to be reading! Continue reading “My May TBR”
