If anyone knows, please let me know. I would love to give credit where the credit is due. I’m so curious to see what is on this list. I’m going off of goodreads. Looking at a glance I have some books I added from 2014 so I will be skipping those. I want to keep it within the last couple of years. Let’s dive in!

Blogmas Day 18: Netgalley Arcs I Need To Read #6

Hey guys! It’s time for another update on the Netgalley arcs I need to read. I ended up reading 11 this year which I feel is really good. I did try to make it a point to read some of the older ones I had on the list. I’m pretty sure the oldest one I had was from 2017 and I read that. So I’m very happy about that. I have requested some books. I’ve been trying really hard not to but sometimes I just can’t help myself. It’s hard when a book just sounds so good. Anyway let’s dive in to see what books I still need to read.

Blogmas Day 18: Netgalley Arcs I Need To Read #5

Hey guys! So I figured it was time for another Netgalley update. I am still backed up on e-arcs. I do have some on my TBR for the next couple months. I have decided if I don’t read the ones from the last couple years then I won’t worry about reviewing them. I keep saying I want to get on top of my e-arcs and I keep slacking. This year has been a mess so I’m giving myself a pass. So let’s dive in to see what arcs I need to read from Netgalley.

Waiting on Wednesday: Lock Every Door By Riley Sager & Layover By David Bell

Lock Every DoorLock Every Door By Riley Sager

Genre: Thriller, Mystery, Fiction
Pages: 384 pages
Release Date: July 2 2019
Publisher: Dutton

Plot: No visitors. No nights spent away from the apartment. No disturbing the other residents, all of whom are rich or famous or both. These are the only rules for Jules Larsen’s new job as an apartment sitter at the Bartholomew, one of Manhattan’s most high-profile and mysterious buildings. Recently heartbroken and just plain broke, Jules is taken in by the splendor of her surroundings and accepts the terms, ready to leave her past life behind.

As she gets to know the residents and staff of the Bartholomew, Jules finds herself drawn to fellow apartment sitter Ingrid, who comfortingly, disturbingly reminds her of the sister she lost eight years ago. When Ingrid confides that the Bartholomew is not what it seems and the dark history hidden beneath its gleaming facade is starting to frighten her, Jules brushes it off as a harmless ghost story . . . until the next day, when Ingrid disappears.

Searching for the truth about Ingrid’s disappearance, Jules digs deeper into the Bartholomew’s dark past and into the secrets kept within its walls. Her discovery that Ingrid is not the first apartment sitter to go missing at the Bartholomew pits Jules against the clock as she races to unmask a killer, expose the building’s hidden past, and escape the Bartholomew before her temporary status becomes permanent.

Why I Need This Book: I really have enjoyed Riley Sager’s books in the past. So when I heard he had a new book coming I was so excited. I was very fortune to get an e-arc of this book. I have read it and I really loved it. This is my favorite Riley Sager book. I can’t wait for it to come out and then you guys are able to read it and experience the story. It was such an enjoyable read with twists I didn’t see coming. My review will be out soon for it.

LayoverLayover By David Bell

Genre: Thriller. Mystery, Fiction, Suspense
Pages: 416 pages
Release Date: July 2 2019
Publisher: Berkley Books

Plot: In this high concept psychological suspense novel from the USA Today bestselling author of Somebody’s Daughter, a chance meeting with a woman in an airport sends a man on a
pulse-pounding quest for the truth…

Joshua Fields takes the same flights every week for work. His life is a series of departures and arrivals, hotels and airports. During yet another layover, Joshua meets Morgan, a beautiful stranger with whom he feels an immediate connection. When it’s time for their flights, Morgan gets up to leave, leans over and passionately kisses Joshua, lamenting that they’ll never see each other again.

As Morgan slips away, Joshua is left feeling confused by what just happened between them. That’s when he looks up and is shocked to see Morgan’s face flashing on a nearby TV screen. He’s even more shocked when he learns the reason why–Morgan is a missing person.

What follows is a whirlwind, fast-paced journey filled with lies, deceit, and secrets to discover the truth about why Morgan is on the run. But when he finally thinks every mystery is solved, another rears its head, and Joshua’s worst enemy may be his own assumptions about those around him…

Why I Need This Book: I really enjoy David Bell’s books. I am a bit behind. I still need to read his last release. The moment I saw he had another book coming out I couldn’t help but be excited. I was also lucky to get an e-arc of this book as well. I have not read it but I would like to try to read it before it is released. I really like that this takes place at an airport. I’ve only read one other book at an airport and that was a contemporary book. I feel this should be a quick and fun read. I can’t wait to read it!

Have you gotten to read this early? If so what are your thoughts on it? If not, are you guys interested in picking this up? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I seriously can’t wait for them to come out!
