Hey guys! It’s time for another update on the Netgalley arcs I need to read. I ended up reading 11 this year which I feel is really good. I did try to make it a point to read some of the older ones I had on the list. I’m pretty sure the oldest one I had was from 2017 and I read that. So I’m very happy about that. I have requested some books. I’ve been trying really hard not to but sometimes I just can’t help myself. It’s hard when a book just sounds so good. Anyway let’s dive in to see what books I still need to read.
Hey guys! So I figured it was time for another Netgalley update. I am still backed up on e-arcs. I do have some on my TBR for the next couple months. I have decided if I don’t read the ones from the last couple years then I won’t worry about reviewing them. I keep saying I want to get on top of my e-arcs and I keep slacking. This year has been a mess so I’m giving myself a pass. So let’s dive in to see what arcs I need to read from Netgalley.
Hey guys! I honestly can’t believe we are on day 16 of Blogmas. Time is seriously just flying by. Last week I did my first week of Try A Chapter Tag. I like getting a little taste of all these books. I have been really interested in some. Others I have decided I’m just going to unhaul or just not read. I even found some that weren’t on my radar. So let’s dive in and see what books I tried in the last week.
Hey guys, it’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. The theme for this week is Books On My Winter 2020-2021 TBR. In my last couple posts I feel I mentioned I haven’t really been sticking to a TBR. I am usually more on top of that. So these are books I’m leading towards reading. I do hope to get to majority of these. So let’s dive in to see what books I hope to read.
Hey guys! So last time I updated you on Netgalley Arcs I needed to read it was last year for Blogmas. So I figured I would update you again this Blogmas. I honestly haven’t requested too many e-arcs on Netgalley this year. I did want to try to read up all the ones I had to review…but that didn’t happen. I want to be more on top of that next year. So let’s dive in to see what those e-arcs are. Continue reading “Blogmas Day 8: Netgalley Arcs I Need To Read #4”

Plot: No visitors. No nights spent away from the apartment. No disturbing the other residents, all of whom are rich or famous or both. These are the only rules for Jules Larsen’s new job as an apartment sitter at the Bartholomew, one of Manhattan’s most high-profile and mysterious buildings. Recently heartbroken and just plain broke, Jules is taken in by the splendor of her surroundings and accepts the terms, ready to leave her past life behind.
As she gets to know the residents and staff of the Bartholomew, Jules finds herself drawn to fellow apartment sitter Ingrid, who comfortingly, disturbingly reminds her of the sister she lost eight years ago. When Ingrid confides that the Bartholomew is not what it seems and the dark history hidden beneath its gleaming facade is starting to frighten her, Jules brushes it off as a harmless ghost story . . . until the next day, when Ingrid disappears.
Searching for the truth about Ingrid’s disappearance, Jules digs deeper into the Bartholomew’s dark past and into the secrets kept within its walls. Her discovery that Ingrid is not the first apartment sitter to go missing at the Bartholomew pits Jules against the clock as she races to unmask a killer, expose the building’s hidden past, and escape the Bartholomew before her temporary status becomes permanent.

pulse-pounding quest for the truth…
Joshua Fields takes the same flights every week for work. His life is a series of departures and arrivals, hotels and airports. During yet another layover, Joshua meets Morgan, a beautiful stranger with whom he feels an immediate connection. When it’s time for their flights, Morgan gets up to leave, leans over and passionately kisses Joshua, lamenting that they’ll never see each other again.
As Morgan slips away, Joshua is left feeling confused by what just happened between them. That’s when he looks up and is shocked to see Morgan’s face flashing on a nearby TV screen. He’s even more shocked when he learns the reason why–Morgan is a missing person.
What follows is a whirlwind, fast-paced journey filled with lies, deceit, and secrets to discover the truth about why Morgan is on the run. But when he finally thinks every mystery is solved, another rears its head, and Joshua’s worst enemy may be his own assumptions about those around him…
Why I Need This Book: I really enjoy David Bell’s books. I am a bit behind. I still need to read his last release. The moment I saw he had another book coming out I couldn’t help but be excited. I was also lucky to get an e-arc of this book as well. I have not read it but I would like to try to read it before it is released. I really like that this takes place at an airport. I’ve only read one other book at an airport and that was a contemporary book. I feel this should be a quick and fun read. I can’t wait to read it!
Have you gotten to read this early? If so what are your thoughts on it? If not, are you guys interested in picking this up? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I seriously can’t wait for them to come out!
