Plus I love that the challenges are very open to how you interpret them. I’m glad I have a month long to complete these challenges. Now let’s go see my TBR.
Hey guys! I hope you’re doing well. I am so excited to share with you my February haul. I feel this was such a good month for hauls. Audible had a mystery/thriller sale so I jumped on that. Also Barnes and Nobles was having an Image comic book sale. I took advantage of that to try some new series. I’m so excited to share with you what I got. So let’s dive in! Hey guys! I saw someone posted this and I thought this would be so fun to do. I am a huge fan of Inside Out. So when I saw there was a tag for it I knew I had to take part. I am so excited to be doing this. So let’s dive in!
A book that brings you JOY:
This book was such a fun read. It was filled with lots of dogs which you can’t complain about. I highly recommend this cute contemporary.
A book that makes you SAD:
This was such an emotional roller coaster ride. I loved every second of it. It made me shed a few tears.
A book that makes you ANGRY:
This book annoyed me so much. I couldn’t stand it. The main character annoyed me so much.
A book that DISGUSTS you:
I can’t really think of anything right now.
A book that brings you FEAR:
This book creeped me out. The one time I read it at night I was worried someone was going to come into my house.
I tag anyone who is interested in doing this. I would love to see all your thoughts.
So tell me, have you read any of these books? If you’ve read any of these, what emotions did you guys end up feeling? I would love to know!
Hey guys I seriously can’t believe 2017 is over. It honestly doesn’t feel like 2018 to me. Anyway I thought it would be fun to do this. I ended up doing it last year where I reviewed 2016. Overall I feel 2016 was a good read of reading. I read a lot and found a lot of amazing new authors. I also read a lot of great books. I am super excited to see what 2018 brings for me. Hopefully some great reads. Let’s begin! Continue reading “My Review of 2017”
Hey guys!! It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday. This is a meme hosted every Tuesday by the lovely The Broke and the Bookish. This was a tough one because I’ve read a lot of good reads this year. I was debating adding comics to this but I decided to just stick with books. I know the year isn’t over yet, so if I do read anymore amazing books I will make sure to update this list. Continue reading “Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books of 2017”
Hey guys! I hope you all are doing well. It’s time for me to post my Monthly Wrap-up. Since I didn’t post October’s Monthly Wrap-up last month, I will be including it in this post as well. I have to say October and November were good reading months for me.
In October, I took place in a readathon, Spookathon. I ended up getting in a lot of reading done that week. I was very surprised and also very happy with myself.
In November, I got a lot of reading done. In the last week alone I ended up reading about 4 books. I got really into audio books. I realized it helps me read a lot faster. I will be using audio books a lot more in the future.
Now let’s see what books I ended up reading in October and November. Continue reading “Monthly Wrap-up”
Top Ten Tuesday was started on The Broke And The Bookish, it is a weekly meme with a predefined topic that book bloggers around the world participate in. It’s been a while since I participated in this. There are a lot of books coming out this fall that I really can’t wait for. It was fun creating this list for you guys as well as seeing what books you added. So let’s dive on in!
Hey guys!! It’s time once again for another Top Ten Tuesday which is hosted by The Broke and Bookish. This will be their last Top Ten Tuesday until August 15th. I’m excited to do this because I’ve read 59 books so far. This should be fun!
I just want to know these are in no order. These are just some books that have stood out to me that I really liked. There are a couple more that I really did like but I wanted to keep it at 10.
Reason: This was a book I bought a while ago when it was on sale in the iBooks store. I finally decided I was going to read it. I have to say I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It ended up being a very enjoyable read.
Reason: I loved this book so much. It was such a fun summer read. I didn’t end up reading it in the summer time but just everything about I really enjoyed. I was so upset I ended up taking so long to finally read this one. Hands down my favorite Sarah Dessen book.
Reason: I think part of me enjoying this book so much was because I read it in parts each day. I would have to wait for the next day to find out just a little bit more. It made the experience even more suspenseful because I was dying to know what was going to happen. I really ended up enjoying this one.
Reason: This is a book I was really looking forward to reading and did not disappoint. It shocked me and left me completely surprised by the ending. I could not get over it. I have to say this book was worth the wait.
Reason: This is a book I got from netgalley probably last year. I had sat on it for a while and this year finally decided to read it. I was so upset I waited so long for it. It was such a shocking read. I honestly didn’t see anything coming. I looked up the author right after and saw she was coming out with a new book this year. You know I can’t wait for that to come out.
Reason: This ended up being another really good thriller that I was not expecting. It was another book I had gotten from Netgalley but didn’t end up reading. I was so disappointed I waited so long because this was so good. It had me feeling on the edge at times and I really enjoyed that it messed with me a little. Not too many books do that to me so it was interesting to that a book could actually do that to me. I really need to read other books from this author.
Reason: This was a book I didn’t know too much about. I ended up really enjoying it a lot. It was a nice coming of age story. I have to say I was jealous of this characters life but I also felt I related to her in some ways. It ended up being a really fun read for me. I can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next.
Reason: Okay so if you’re really shocked this is here you really don’t know me at all lol. I am a huge Breaking Bad fan which means I am a huge supporter of Bryan Cranston. The moment I head he was writing a book I knew I needed that book. I did end up getting carried away and bought a signed copy but worth it. He ends up telling it all and I enjoyed that. He wasn’t afraid to hold back. I would highly recommend this if you’re a fan.
Reason: This book right here. Wow I was pretty shocked by everything in this book. It was so surprising and I gotta admit a bit graphic but I enjoyed that. I know a lot of people said it ended up being too graphic for them but I actually ended up enjoying it. It made the story shocking and a lot more intense. I can’t wait to read more from Karin.
Reason: This is such an underrated comic. I found out about this from my boyfriend and it just so happened volume 1 and 2 were on Netgalley to read right away. The artwork ended up being incredible. Hands down the biggest draw. Don’t get me wrong the story was a lot of fun and I couldn’t wait to continue it but the artwork was so well done. I can’t wait for the next volume.
