Blogmas Day 1: Top Ten Tuesday – Books I Want To Read Again

Hey guys, I’m back! I decided I would attempt to do Blogmas this year. Blogmas is something I started doing 2 years ago. It gives me a challenge and I always find it enjoyable. It’s my bookish way of getting into the Christmas spirit. Please bare with me. I haven’t been in the mood to blog and am in a bit of a reading slump. So I’m trying to use this to get myself out of both. Let’s hope this works.

Anyway, it’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. The theme for this week is Books I Want to Read Again. I don’t reread books too often. I usually try to read books I haven’t read before. Sometimes though we need that feeling we get from reading our favorite book again. I also will reread if I’m reading a sequel. I need to start doing that more tbh. So let’s dive in !

Top Ten Tuesday: Standalone Books That Need a Sequel

Hey guys!!! It’s time again for another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is Standalone Books That Need a Sequel. So let’s dive in to see which books I picked. Continue reading “Top Ten Tuesday: Standalone Books That Need a Sequel”

Top 5 Wednesday: Favorite SFF Cover Art

Hey guys!! Once again it’s another Top 5 Wednesday. I really enjoy picking out my favorite covers because I feel covers are so important. They are the first thing you see when looking at a book. I know people say never judge a book by a cover but when a book has a pretty cover I can’t help but be drawn to it. I have to admit there are plenty of books I’ve solely picked up just because I couldn’t stop starring at the cover. This week the theme is Favorite SFF Cover Art *Booktube SFF Awards Crossover Topic* — Show off some of your favorite science fiction and fantasy cover art! I’m super excited for this one.

Stranger in a Strange Land
Stranger in a Strange Land By Robert A. Heinlein

Reason: I’m not sure what it is about this book but I love the way it looks. It might be how it’s so blue and blue is my favorite. I also like how they’re underwater. I noticed I really like covers with water on them.

Ready Player One

The Fireman
The Fireman By Joe Hill

Reason:  So I haven’t read this book yet but the more I look at the more I want to read it now. I love the way the artist drew the fire. It how it has a water color look to it. This cover is haunting and creepy but I really like it.

Reason: So I read this book for Underrated Book Club and it ended up being a huge surprise. There is something about this cover that I really like. I really enjoy the space vibes.

American Gods
American Gods By Neil Gaiman

Reason: I recently bought this book and I’m disappointed I didn’t get this cover. I really like the font that they use on the cover. I also am pretty sure I’m attracted to it because it’s blue. Out of all the covers for this book this one is my favorite.

What are some of your favorite Science Fiction and Fantasy covers? I mainly stayed with Science Fiction books. I’ve read two of these books so far. I read Ready Player One and Starflight. I’ve read bits and pieces of Stranger in a Strange Land. That’s a book I want to reread and actually finish.

Let me know some of your favorite Science Fiction and Fantasy books. I would like to branch out and read more from that genre.
