My Favorites of 2019

Hey guys! I was suppose to post this yesterday but didn’t finish writing it before I went out so posting it today just because I haven’t posted much all week. I hope you’re all having a wonderful day. I decided that for today to do a post that is long overdue. I haven’t done a favorites of 2019 yet. So I figured I would show you all the books I loved in 2019. I have to say looking back at the books of 2019, It was an iffy read for reads. I read a lot of books I didn’t like. So I can understand why it was a pretty slumpy year for me. I hope that 2020 is better. Right now I’ve been enjoying majority of my books. So I hope it stays that way. So let’s dive in!

Blogmas Day 19: New To Me Authors

Hey guys! So last year I made a post talking about new to me authors and I really liked that. I thought it would be fun to do it again this year. I feel I ended up reading a good amount of authors that were new to me. Some who I have been wanting to read for a while now. I’m not going to talk about all those authors since there are so many. I want to talk about ones that stood out to me and I want to read more from. So let’s dive in!

I thought this was a fun one because there are plenty of times I’m skeptical of a book or I get the arc of it. Then I’ll read it and be like wow I really love this. I would love to own all the books I love but I am low on shelf space and also I try to wait until I can find it on sale. So let’s dive in to see what some of those books are.

Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag #2

Hey guys! I honestly can’t believe we are in the middle of June right now. I swear June 1st was just yesterday but we’re almost at the end and July is fast approaching. I can’t get over how quick this year is just flying by. It needs to slow down.

Anyway, I have seen this tag going around on youtube and saw some blogger friends post it as well so I thought I’d hop on board and do it. I honestly forgot that I did this last year but I’m excited to do it again! I feel 2019 has been a bit of a difficult reading year for me. I’ve read 38 books so far. I feel this has been a decent reading year. I’ve had some books really stand out and others I haven’t really enjoyed. I also just got out of a bit of a reading slump which I’m glad that’s over with. I do feel I’ve read some enjoyable reads this month so that makes me very happy. So let’s dive in!

OWLS Magical Readathon Wrap-up

Hey guys! I honestly can’t believe April is already over and we are on our 2nd day in May. I swear these months are just flying by. It’s crazy to me. Anyway, in April I ended up participating in OWLS Magical Readathon. I did end up switching some books because I didn’t like a couple I picked. Some of the books I read I loved and a couple I really didn’t like at all. I ended up reading 10 out of 12 of the categories. I feel if I ended up enjoying a couple of the books more I probably could have got in another book or 2. I am super excited to say that I did pass all the OWLS for my career which is Auror. I am excited to do the next readathon. So let’s dive in!
