I have a lot of books on my shelf and I want to focus on reading those. Yes there are a lot of other books I want to read as well. I just want to make some room on my shelves for new books. So let’s dive in and see what the 20 books are! Continue reading “20 Books I’d Like to Read in 2020”

Down The TBR Hole #65
Hey guys! It’s time for another Down The TBR Hole which was created by Lia @Lost In A Story! This is getting tougher because I am quickly getting into books I’ve recently added to my TBR. Since doing this I have been a lot more selective about the books I’ve added. So a lot of these are either books I own or books I really want to read. I know there are still I probably am not as interested in so I’m going to aim to get rid of those. So let’s dive in! Continue reading “Down The TBR Hole #65”
Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag
Wow I honestly can’t believe we have little over a week left of June. I find that so crazy. It feels like just yesterday that I was anxiously waiting for Bookcon to get here. Bookcon came and went and so did the rest of June. I have to say I am pretty excited because I have a vacation coming up in July but I do wish things would just slow down a little bit.
So I have been seeing a lot of people doing this mid-year freak out tag. It was created on youtube Chami & Ely. I thought it would be really fun to do. Yes I am freaking out a little bit but I’d like to share with you guys my reading experience so far for half of 2018. I am interested to see how I feel at the end of the year. So let’s dive in! Continue reading “Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag”

January Book Haul
Hey guys! I hope you’re all doing well! I haven’t done a Haul in a while. I decided I wasn’t going to buy much in January even though a lot of books I wanted came out. Plot: Odessa is one of Karthia’s master necromancers, catering to the kingdom’s ruling Dead. Whenever a noble dies, it’s Odessa’s job to raise them by retrieving their souls from a dreamy and dangerous shadow world called the Deadlands. But there is a cost to being raised–the Dead must remain shrouded, or risk transforming into zombie-like monsters known as Shades. If even a hint of flesh is exposed, the grotesque transformation will begin.
A dramatic uptick in Shade attacks raises suspicions and fears among Odessa’s necromancer community. Soon a crushing loss of one of their own reveals a disturbing conspiracy: someone is intentionally creating Shades by tearing shrouds from the Dead–and training them to attack. Odessa is faced with a terrifying question: What if her necromancer’s magic is the weapon that brings Karthia to its knees?
Why I Need This Book: I was sold the moment I saw the word nercomancer. I have never read a book about necromancers and this one sounds super interesting. Plus I have been hearing nothing but amazing things about this book. It is high on my list of books I need to purchase.
Have any of you guys gotten a chance to read this early? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I seriously can’t wait to get my hands on it.
