Down The TBR Hole #65

Hey guys! It’s time for another Down The TBR Hole which was created by Lia @Lost In A Story! This is getting tougher because I am quickly getting into books I’ve recently added to my TBR. Since doing this I have been a lot more selective about the books I’ve added. So a lot of these are either books I own or books I really want to read. I know there are still I probably am not as interested in so I’m going to aim to get rid of those. So let’s dive in! Continue reading “Down The TBR Hole #65”

So I have been seeing a lot of people doing this mid-year freak out tag. It was created on youtube Chami & Ely. I thought it would be really fun to do. Yes I am freaking out a little bit but I’d like to share with you guys my reading experience so far for half of 2018. I am interested to see how I feel at the end of the year. So let’s dive in! Hey guys! I hope you’re all doing well! I haven’t done a Haul in a while. I decided I wasn’t going to buy much in January even though a lot of books I wanted came out. Waiting On Wednesday: Reign of the Fallen By Sarah Glenn Marsh

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine which spotlights highly anticipated upcoming releases.

Reign of the FallenThe Reign of the Fallen By Sarah Glenn Marsh

Genre: Fantasy, Young Adult, Glbt
Pages: 384 pages
Published: January 23th 2018
Publisher: Razorbill

Plot: Odessa is one of Karthia’s master necromancers, catering to the kingdom’s ruling Dead. Whenever a noble dies, it’s Odessa’s job to raise them by retrieving their souls from a dreamy and dangerous shadow world called the Deadlands. But there is a cost to being raised–the Dead must remain shrouded, or risk transforming into zombie-like monsters known as Shades. If even a hint of flesh is exposed, the grotesque transformation will begin.

A dramatic uptick in Shade attacks raises suspicions and fears among Odessa’s necromancer community. Soon a crushing loss of one of their own reveals a disturbing conspiracy: someone is intentionally creating Shades by tearing shrouds from the Dead–and training them to attack. Odessa is faced with a terrifying question: What if her necromancer’s magic is the weapon that brings Karthia to its knees?

Why I Need This Book: I was sold the moment I saw the word nercomancer. I have never read a book about necromancers and this one sounds super interesting. Plus I have been hearing nothing but amazing things about this book. It is high on my list of books I need to purchase.

Have any of you guys gotten a chance to read this early? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I seriously can’t wait to get my hands on it.
