May TBR

Hey guys! It’s been a hot second since I’ve created a TBR for myself. I’ve been just picking up books as I go. I’ve also been trying to catch up with my Netgalley arcs. I’m still behind but slowly getting there. I can’t stop requesting arcs. Anyway, for my May TBR I picked books I own, Netgalley books, and books I’ve put on hold from the library. I hope I get to all of these in May. Let’s dive in to see what books I picked.

Blogmas Day 18: Netgalley Arcs I Need To Read #6

Hey guys! It’s time for another update on the Netgalley arcs I need to read. I ended up reading 11 this year which I feel is really good. I did try to make it a point to read some of the older ones I had on the list. I’m pretty sure the oldest one I had was from 2017 and I read that. So I’m very happy about that. I have requested some books. I’ve been trying really hard not to but sometimes I just can’t help myself. It’s hard when a book just sounds so good. Anyway let’s dive in to see what books I still need to read.

Blogmas Day 11: My Most Anticipated Books of 2022

Hey guys!! I can’t get how December is just flying by. I swear so many things have happened this year that feel like they happened years ago. Overall it’s been a decent year. One of the things I look forward to is getting hyped for the new books of the new year. I have to say I haven’t been super up to date with what’s coming out. I haven’t been on Twitter a lot lately. I feel like I usually find out about new releases from Twitter. YouTube does help me out a lot with new releases as well. I do try to look up my favorite authors every once in a while to see. Sometimes things just slip through the cracks. So here are some of my most anticipated books of 2022 that are on my radar. Let’s dive in!

Blogmas Day 1: 25 Reads of December

Hey guys! I’m back and hoping to stay back. This year has been a tough one like last year. So for a while I just wasn’t in the mood to blog. I’m hoping Blogmas helps lifts my blogging spirits. I’m not going to have as much free time as I use to but I’m still going to try. I just wanted to give you guys a little update.

Anyway, it’s time again for 25 Reads of December. The 25 Reads of December is done by Riveted. Everyday leading up to Christmas a different book will be free to read for one day. I really love this idea so much. They always include so many amazing books that are in different genres. Also they have a good amount of books that have just recently come out this year.

Once again I haven’t really heard of majority of these books. I have read The Perks of Being a Wallflower By Stephen Chbosky. I’ve also been wanting to read Take Me Home Tonight By Morgan Matson. So maybe I’ll end up picking that up. I do plan on doing more Try A Chapter with some of these books. So let’s dive in and see what I’m going to try to read!

December & January Wrap-up

Hey guys! I am back! I am hoping to stay back. I have a lot of posts to catch up on. I took a much needed break in January. It just wasn’t my month and needed some time off. I honestly can’t believe we are already in February. Time flies when you can’t really do much. Anyway, I decided I would combine December and January’s wrap-up. I haven’t read too much so I figured I could just combine the two. I feel like I read a couple of good books. I haven’t found anything I really loved. I do hope that changes this month. I’m in need of a good thriller. I haven’t read one of those in a while. Thankfully I have some on my February TBR. I will be sharing that soon. Anyway, let’s dive in to my wrap-up!

I haven’t really been posting TBRs because my reading mood has been all over the place. I haven’t been sticking to them. There were some books I really wanted to get to but I don’t think I’ll be able to fit them in. Here’s to starting fresh in the new year. So now let’s dive in to see what I read in November!

Hey guys! So it is time for my October Wrap-up. I know that this is a bit late. I didn’t end up blogging during the month of November. I still wanted to update you guys on what I ended up reading in October. It did end up being a bit more than I remember. However I did read some short stories and some comics so that is part of it. I honestly felt like I read some of these books a while ago. My brain is definitely shot from this year. I do look forward to 2021 and starting a clean slate. I do hope it ends up being better. Synopsis: The offer is too tempting: be part of a scientific breakthrough, step out of his life for a year, and be paid hugely for it. When ViGen Pharmaceuticals asks Jeremiah to be part of an illegal cloning experiment, he sees it as a break from an existence he feels disconnected from. No one will know he’s been replaced—not the son who ignores him, not his increasingly distant wife—since a revolutionary drug called Meld can transfer his consciousness and memories to his copy.

From a luxurious apartment, he watches the clone navigate his day-to-day life. But soon Jeremiah discovers that examining himself from an outsider’s perspective isn’t what he thought it would be, and he watches in horror as “his” life spirals out of control. ViGen needs the experiment to succeed—they won’t call it off, and are prepared to remove any obstacle. With his family in danger, Jeremiah needs to finally find the courage to face himself head-on.

Author Bio: Jane Gilmartin has been a news reporter and editor for several small-town weekly papers and enjoyed a brief but exciting stint as a rock music journalist. A bucket list review just before she turned 50 set her on the path to fiction writing. Also checked off that list: an accidental singing career, attending a Star Trek convention, and getting a hug from David Bowie. She lives in her hometown of Hingham, Massachusetts.

September Wrap-up

Hey guys! I am here with my September Wrap-up. I honestly have no clue where September went. I do feel September was a bit of a weird month for me. I made a bit of an ambitious TBR. Then when the time came to read I found myself not really interested in what I picked out. I also found myself not really wanting to read so I tried to resort to audiobooks. Overall I did find a couple new reads I liked so let’s dive in to see what books those were!
