Hey guys! Once again it is time for the 25 Reads of December. I did want to post this yesterday but I really wanted to do the Top Tuesday. So here I am posting it a day late. I always enjoy this a lot. The 25 Reads of December is done by Riveted. Everyday leading up to Christmas a different book will be free to read for one day. I really love this idea so much. They always include so many amazing books that are in different genres. Also they have a good amount of books that have just recently come out this year.
This year I am not very familiar with a lot of the books on this book. I have only read one of these books which is I Killed Zoe Spanos By Kit Frick. I really enjoyed and recommend listening to on audiobook if you can.
I do find the best way I am able to read these books in a day is when I don’t have anything going on and I’m able to listen to the audiobook. I always try to see if my library has the book before hand. Obviously you don’t have to read these in just a day. I do like that you’re able to start reading it right away. If you do like it you can buy it or even see if you’re library has it. It’s a great way to discover new authors. So let’s dive in to see what I’m going to try to read!
Hey guys! So the other day I made a post about My Favorite Books of 2018. So I decided I needed to follow up with a Most Disappointing Reads post. I have to say 2018 wasn’t an amazing reading year for me. I did read 100 books but a lot of them I thought were okay or didn’t like at all. Some of these I don’t even remember what they were about just that I didn’t like them. Some of these are popular books that I know people really enjoyed. I am so happy you liked that and I really wish I could have enjoyed them just as much. I do get a bit bummed when I don’t like a popular book. Not every book is for everyone. So now let’s dive in to see my most disappointing reads. Continue reading “My Most Disappointing Reads of 2018”→
Hey guys! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas. I can’t believe this is the last day of Blogmas. I am so sad to be done. I saw that Riveted was doing the 25 Reads of Christmas again. So that meant everyday leading up to Christmas a different book was free to read for one day. They ended up doing this last year. Last year I had a lot more free time so I could read more. This year I ended up being really busy and was working so I didn’t have much free time. So I decided I would talk about books I read, started and wanted to read. So let’s dive in. Hey guys! It’s time for another Down the TBR Hole which was created by Lia @Lost In A Story! My TBR has been growing for so many years now. I am at over 700 books on this list. I sometimes will randomly go look at it and take books off but not enough. So I decided this would be a fun way for you guys to see what types of books I’m into while I also attempt to lower my TBR list. I decided I’ll aim to make this a weekly thing on Thursdays. I like adding new types of posts on my blog. I love Book Reviews but sometimes you just gotta switch it up. I’m sure you guys feel the same. So let’s get into how this works:
Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
Order on ascending date added.
Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
Read the synopses of the books
Decide: keep it or should it go?
The fact that I will be repeating this process every week means that I have to keep track of where I ended and where I’m going to continue. E.g. in week one I do book 1 – 5, in week two book 6 – 10, and so on, until I’ve filtered out my entire TBR. Continue reading “Down The TBR Hole #1”→
