Down The TBR Hole #19

Web

Hey guys! I am so excited for another week of Down The TBR Hole. This is a post I really enjoy doing. I have so many books on my TBR so it’s always nice to do. Plus I randomly find out about books I added to my TBR years ago and forgot about. Last week ended up being really good. I got rid of 4 books. I can’t wait to see what this week brings. Let’s go!

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?

The fact that I  will be repeating this process every week means that I have to keep track of where I ended and where I’m going to continue. E.g. in week one I do book 1 – 5, in week two book 6 – 10, and so on, until I’ve filtered out my entire TBR. Continue reading “Down The TBR Hole #19”

My Review of 2017

Hey guys I seriously can’t believe 2017 is over. It honestly doesn’t feel like 2018 to me. Anyway I thought it would be fun to do this. I ended up doing it last year where I reviewed 2016. Overall I feel 2016 was a good read of reading. I read a lot and found a lot of amazing new authors. I also read a lot of great books. I am super excited to see what 2018 brings for me. Hopefully some great reads. Let’s begin! Continue reading “My Review of 2017”

December Wrap-up

monthly-wrap-up

Hey guys! I had a really good reading month for December. You’ve probably been hearing me say that I recently have gotten into audiobooks. I have listened to them in the past. This month I took a really big liking to them so that helped. I also ended up reading 4 extra books that I wasn’t planning on reading so that helped as well.

December had 2 accomplishments for me. I finished the Bill Hodges series by Stephen. I’ve had the first book for a couple of years now so I was super exciting to start reading that. I ended up really loving that. I also ended up finishing The Series of Unfortunate Events. This is a series I started years ago when I was younger. I finally made the effort to finish it last year. I finally did it! It is a series I wish I finished as a kid because I feel I would have enjoyed it more. I can see myself rereading it in the future at some point.

Anyway, let’s start my last wrap-up from 2017. Continue reading “December Wrap-up”

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books of 2017

Top Ten Tuesday

Hey guys!! It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday. This is a meme hosted every Tuesday by the lovely The Broke and the Bookish. This was a tough one because I’ve read a lot of good reads this year. I was debating adding comics to this but I decided to just stick with books. I know the year isn’t over yet, so if I do read anymore amazing books I will make sure to update this list. Monthly Wrap-up

monthly-wrap-up

Hey guys! I hope you all are doing well. It’s time for me to post my Monthly Wrap-up. Since I didn’t post October’s Monthly Wrap-up last month, I will be including it in this post as well. I have to say October and November were good reading months for me.

In October, I took place in a readathon, Spookathon. I ended up getting in a lot of reading done that week. I was very surprised and also very happy with myself.

In November, I got a lot of reading done. In the last week alone I ended up reading about 4 books. I got really into audio books. I realized it helps me read a lot faster. I will be using audio books a lot more in the future.

Now let’s see what books I ended up reading in October and November. Continue reading “Monthly Wrap-up”
