5 Star Predictions
Hey guys! So I have been seeing this go around on youtube in the past and have been wanting to do this for a while now. I think the main reason I just never did is because I’ve been super nervous about this. I worry that I’ll make this list and then either I won’t like any of the books or none of them will be five stars. Sure I know what books I like but sometimes I surprise myself. Sometimes I find myself loving a book I might never have picked up and other times I’ll dislike a book I was dying to pick up. I am very excited to pick up all these books. After I read all of them I will come back and make another post with my ratings and what I ended up thinking of them. So let’s dive in! Continue reading “5 Star Predictions”

Waiting on Wednesday: The Cheerleaders By Kara Thomas
The Cheerleaders By Kara Thomas
Genre: Young Adult, Mystery, Contemporary, Thriller
Pages: 384 pages
Release Date: July 31 2018
Publisher: Delacorte Press
Plot: There are no more cheerleaders in the town of Sunnybrook.
First there was the car accident—two girls gone after hitting a tree on a rainy night. Not long after, the murders happened. Those two girls were killed by the man next door. The police shot him, so no one will ever know why he did it. Monica’s sister was the last cheerleader to die. After her suicide, Sunnybrook High disbanded the cheer squad. No one wanted to be reminded of the girls they lost.
That was five years ago. Now the faculty and students at Sunnybrook High want to remember the lost cheerleaders. But for Monica, it’s not that easy. She just wants to forget. Only, Monica’s world is starting to unravel. There are the letters in her stepdad’s desk, an unearthed, years-old cell phone, a strange new friend at school. . . . Whatever happened five years ago isn’t over. Some people in town know more than they’re saying. And somehow Monica is at the center of it all.
There are no more cheerleaders in Sunnybrook, but that doesn’t mean anyone else is safe.
Why I Need This Book: So I have been excited for this book the moment I heard of it. I have read both books my Kara Thomas. She is an autobuy author for me. This book sounds totally up my alley. I signed up for the Blog tour for this so I really hope I get picked to be apart of it. I really want to read this book. Plus I’m a little sad because I’ll be missing the launch for this. I was really hoping to go.
Have you gotten to read this early? If so what are your thoughts on it? If not, are you guys interested in picking this book up? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I seriously can’t wait for it to come out!
