September Wrap-up

Hey guys! I am here with my September Wrap-up. I honestly have no clue where September went. I do feel September was a bit of a weird month for me. I made a bit of an ambitious TBR. Then when the time came to read I found myself not really interested in what I picked out. I also found myself not really wanting to read so I tried to resort to audiobooks. Overall I did find a couple new reads I liked so let’s dive in to see what books those were!

Down The TBR Hole #65

Hey guys! It’s time for another Down The TBR Hole which was created by Lia @Lost In A Story! This is getting tougher because I am quickly getting into books I’ve recently added to my TBR. Since doing this I have been a lot more selective about the books I’ve added. So a lot of these are either books I own or books I really want to read. I know there are still I probably am not as interested in so I’m going to aim to get rid of those. So let’s dive in! Continue reading “Down The TBR Hole #65”

Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag

Wow I honestly can’t believe we have little over a week left of June. I find that so crazy. It feels like just yesterday that I was anxiously waiting for Bookcon to get here. Bookcon came and went and so did the rest of June. I have to say I am pretty excited because I have a vacation coming up in July but I do wish things would just slow down a little bit.

Waiting On Wednesday: The Outsider By Stephen King

Outsider X RD5BThe Outsider By Stephen King

Genre: Horror, Mystery, Fiction, Thriller
Pages: 576 pages
Release Date: May 22nd 2018
Publisher: Scribner

Plot: An unspeakable crime. A confounding investigation. At a time when the King brand has never been stronger, he has delivered one of his most unsettling and compulsively readable stories.

An eleven-year-old boy’s violated corpse is found in a town park. Eyewitnesses and fingerprints point unmistakably to one of Flint City’s most popular citizens. He is Terry Maitland, Little League coach, English teacher, husband, and father of two girls. Detective Ralph Anderson, whose son Maitland once coached, orders a quick and very public arrest. Maitland has an alibi, but Anderson and the district attorney soon add DNA evidence to go with the fingerprints and witnesses. Their case seems ironclad.

As the investigation expands and horrifying answers begin to emerge, King’s propulsive story kicks into high gear, generating strong tension and almost unbearable suspense. Terry Maitland seems like a nice guy, but is he wearing another face? When the answer comes, it will shock you as only Stephen King can.

Why I Need This Book: First off, it’s Stephen King. Also this book just sounds so up my alley. Sure I have a couple of Stephen King books I have yet to read but I really want this one. I can really see myself enjoying this. Plus I just love the vibes I’m getting from that cover. I also heard that Holly from the Bill Hodges series makes an appearance in this. The Bill Hodges series was one of my favorite series that I read last year. I have been missing the characters so much. I am excited to see what Stephen does with her in this book.

Are you guys interested in picking this book up? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I seriously can’t wait for it to come out!
