My Favorites of 2019

Hey guys! I was suppose to post this yesterday but didn’t finish writing it before I went out so posting it today just because I haven’t posted much all week. I hope you’re all having a wonderful day. I decided that for today to do a post that is long overdue. I haven’t done a favorites of 2019 yet. So I figured I would show you all the books I loved in 2019. I have to say looking back at the books of 2019, It was an iffy read for reads. I read a lot of books I didn’t like. So I can understand why it was a pretty slumpy year for me. I hope that 2020 is better. Right now I’ve been enjoying majority of my books. So I hope it stays that way. So let’s dive in!

Blogmas Day 19: New To Me Authors

Hey guys! So last year I made a post talking about new to me authors and I really liked that. I thought it would be fun to do it again this year. I feel I ended up reading a good amount of authors that were new to me. Some who I have been wanting to read for a while now. I’m not going to talk about all those authors since there are so many. I want to talk about ones that stood out to me and I want to read more from. So let’s dive in!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’ve Read That I’d Like In My Personal Library

Hey guys!!! It’s time again for another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is Books I’ve Read That I’d Like In My Personal Library. I thought this was a fun one because there are plenty of times I’m skeptical of a book or I get the arc of it. Then I’ll read it and be like wow I really love this. I would love to own all the books I love but I am low on shelf space and also I try to wait until I can find it on sale. So let’s dive in to see what some of those books are.

My June Wrap-up

Hey guys! So I feel like I got into a bit of a slump in April. It effected my reading in May and a bit in June as well. I think I am finally out of that reading slump because I’ve been actually doing a good amount lately. So I’m very happy about that. I did end up reading a little more in June than I did in May so I’m happy about that. I am still behind with some books I wanted to read. I do hope I’m able to catch up in July. My July TBR will be out soon. Anyway let’s jump in to what I read in June.

Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag #2

Hey guys! I honestly can’t believe we are in the middle of June right now. I swear June 1st was just yesterday but we’re almost at the end and July is fast approaching. I can’t get over how quick this year is just flying by. It needs to slow down.

Anyway, I have seen this tag going around on youtube and saw some blogger friends post it as well so I thought I’d hop on board and do it. I honestly forgot that I did this last year but I’m excited to do it again! I feel 2019 has been a bit of a difficult reading year for me. I’ve read 38 books so far. I feel this has been a decent reading year. I’ve had some books really stand out and others I haven’t really enjoyed. I also just got out of a bit of a reading slump which I’m glad that’s over with. I do feel I’ve read some enjoyable reads this month so that makes me very happy. So let’s dive in!
