My Favorites of 2019

Hey guys! I was suppose to post this yesterday but didn’t finish writing it before I went out so posting it today just because I haven’t posted much all week. I hope you’re all having a wonderful day. I decided that for today to do a post that is long overdue. I haven’t done a favorites of 2019 yet. So I figured I would show you all the books I loved in 2019. I have to say looking back at the books of 2019, It was an iffy read for reads. I read a lot of books I didn’t like. So I can understand why it was a pretty slumpy year for me. I hope that 2020 is better. Right now I’ve been enjoying majority of my books. So I hope it stays that way. So let’s dive in!

My August TBR

Hey guys! I can’t believe we are already in August. I swear time is just flying by. I have been a little late with posting this because I still haven’t fully decided what I’m going to read this month. I was debating to do NEWTS but after I got into a bit of reading slump from OWLS , I decided I didn’t want to participate. I may participate in Thrillerathon. I am not sure since it falls around when I go on vacation. I probably won’t get much reading done. I’m probably going to keep my August TBR small just since I’m not sure what I want to get to. I might use this month to catch up on some books I wanted to read the last couple of months but didn’t get to. So let’s dive in!

Top Ten Tuesday: My Summer TBR

Hey guys!!! It’s time again for another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is My Summer TBR. So I’ve done these in the past and I feel like sometimes I’ll end up picking up the books and then other times I won’t. I do always try to pick books on my radar that I want to pick up soon. So that’s what I did for this TBR. I also tried to switch it up a little with the genre. I mean there are many thrillers/mysteries and contemporaries in this TBR but I did add at least one romance that seems like it would be a fun summer read. So let’s dive in!

Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag #2

Hey guys! I honestly can’t believe we are in the middle of June right now. I swear June 1st was just yesterday but we’re almost at the end and July is fast approaching. I can’t get over how quick this year is just flying by. It needs to slow down.

Anyway, I have seen this tag going around on youtube and saw some blogger friends post it as well so I thought I’d hop on board and do it. I honestly forgot that I did this last year but I’m excited to do it again! I feel 2019 has been a bit of a difficult reading year for me. I’ve read 38 books so far. I feel this has been a decent reading year. I’ve had some books really stand out and others I haven’t really enjoyed. I also just got out of a bit of a reading slump which I’m glad that’s over with. I do feel I’ve read some enjoyable reads this month so that makes me very happy. So let’s dive in!

I am so happy with my experience. I have gotten rid of so many books over the last couple of years.
