Hey guys! I am finally doing my last Try A Chapter post that I started during Blogmas. Yes, I am 100% a mess. This has been long overdue and I have been slacking. I ended up not doing my last post for Blogmas. Then I decided to take a break in January. I’m trying to get back into things. Slowly but surely. Thankfully I’ve been reading and I feel at the end of the day, that’s all that matters. So let’s dive in to see what chapters I read.

Blogmas Day 18: Netgalley Arcs I Need To Read #5
Hey guys! So I figured it was time for another Netgalley update. I am still backed up on e-arcs. I do have some on my TBR for the next couple months. This year has been a mess so I’m giving myself a pass. So let’s dive in to see what arcs I need to read from Netgalley.

Pages: 304 pages
Release Date: October 2 2018
Publisher: Park Row
Plot: What if the nightmares are actually memories?
It’s been a year since Poppy’s husband, Jack, was brutally murdered during his morning run through Manhattan’s Riverside Park. In the immediate aftermath, Poppy spiraled into an oblivion of grief, disappearing for several days only to turn up ragged and confused wearing a tight red dress she didn’t recognize. What happened to Poppy during those lost days? And more importantly, what happened to Jack?
The case was never solved, and Poppy has finally begun to move on. But those lost days have never stopped haunting her. Poppy starts having nightmares and blackouts–there are periods of time she can’t remember, and she’s unable to tell the difference between what is real and what she’s imagining. When she begins to sense that someone is following her, Poppy is plunged into a game of cat and mouse, determined to unravel the mystery around her husband’s death. But can she handle the truth about what really happened?
Why I Need This Book: So currently I have read 3 books by Lisa Unger and I really liked 2 of them. I was excited to hear she had a new book coming out. I got the arc for this book back in June. I don’t know what it’s about. I try not to read too into the summaries for thriller/mysteries. I hope to get this soon.
Have you gotten to read this early? If so what are your thoughts on it? If not, are you guys interested in picking this book up? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I seriously can’t wait for it to come out!

June Book Haul
Hey guys!! So I have to say June ended up being a really good haul month for me. I went to Bookcon where I got most of these books and I also made some trades as well. I only purchased one other book outside of Bookcon. I think for the next couple of months I’m going to try to slow down on buying books. I have so many I collected this month and the last month. I really need to crack down and I also have a bunch of arcs from Netgalley to get to. So let’s dive in and see what I got. Continue reading “June Book Haul”
