Top Ten Tuesday: The Ten Most Recent Additions to My To-Read List

Hey guys!!! It’s time again for another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is The Ten Most Recent Additions to My To-Read List. So I haven’t been putting too many books on my TBR lately. I have been doing Down The TBR Hole for a while now. I have been trying to add books I know I’m really interested in. I think in the past I would just add something just so I wouldn’t forget the name. So I’m trying to be a bit more picky. So now let’s dive in to see what my most recent additions are! Blogmas Day Day 18: Waiting on Wednesday

Watching YouWatching You By Lisa Jewell

Genre: Thriller, Mystery, Fiction, Suspense
Pages: 320 pages
Release Date: December 26th 2018
Publisher: Atria Books

Plot: Melville Heights is one of the nicest neighbourhoods in Bristol, England; home to doctors and lawyers and old-money academics. It’s not the sort of place where people are brutally murdered in their own kitchens. But it is the sort of place where everyone has a secret. And everyone is watching you.

As the headmaster credited with turning around the local school, Tom Fitzwilliam is beloved by one and all—including Joey Mullen, his new neighbor, who quickly develops an intense infatuation with this thoroughly charming yet unavailable man. Joey thinks her crush is a secret, but Tom’s teenaged son Freddie—a prodigy with aspirations of becoming a spy for MI5—excels in observing people and has witnessed Joey behaving strangely around his father.

One of Tom’s students, Jenna Tripp, also lives on the same street, and she’s not convinced her teacher is as squeaky clean as he seems. For one thing, he has taken a particular liking to her best friend and fellow classmate, and Jenna’s mother—whose mental health has admittedly been deteriorating in recent years—is convinced that Mr. Fitzwilliam is stalking her.

Meanwhile, twenty years earlier, a schoolgirl writes in her diary, charting her doomed obsession with a handsome young English teacher named Mr. Fitzwilliam…

Why I Need This Book: So I ended up reading a Lisa Jewell book last year and I loved it. So I was excited to hear she had 2 books coming out this year. I am sad to say I am slacking and haven’t read Then She Was Gone. I plan to next year, along with this book as well.

Have you gotten to read this early? If so what are your thoughts on it? If not, are you guys interested in picking this book up? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I seriously can’t wait for it to come out!
