Currently Reading
A Game of Thrones By George R. R. Martin
So guys I have good news, I am almost done with my audiobook of this. I believe I should have less than 4 hours. I am so excited to finally be finishing this and moving on to the next one. It’s been so much fun listening to it. I hope that this is the month I finally finish it.
The Devil Crept in By Ania Ahlborn
So I am currently partaking in a horror readathon. I got a horror subscription box last year and barely read any of the books from it. I am taking advantage of this and reading one of the books I got for the readathon. So far I’m enjoying it.
Scythe By Neal Shusterman
So I picked this for my buddy read with Jenna, Luna, and Amy. I have had it out from the library for a little while now. I have heard good things about it but was worried I wouldn’t like it. I decided it would be fun to buddy read. So I’m hoping we all enjoy it. I just read a little today and I’m very interested in it.
Recently Finished
Ice Cream Man Vol. 1: Rainbow Sprinkles By W. Maxwell Prince, Martin Morazzo
I picked this comic for one of the readathons I was participating in. I was really excited to read it because a comic writer said he really liked it. I just felt the stories felt flat for me. I thought only a couple scenes were creepy. I don’t think I’ll be continuing on with the series.
Starry Eyes By Jenn Bennett
I was really excited to read this book. I thought I was really going to enjoy it. I just didn’t really enjoy the characters. A lot of them felt very unrealistic to me. I just felt some of the things these characters said and did, didn’t feel natural. It was very unbelievable for me.
Reading Next
I’ll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman’s Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer By Michelle McNamara, Gillian Flynn (Goodreads Author) , Patton Oswalt
So this is another book I’m planning to read for the readathon. I’ve been wanting to check this out for a while especially since it’s believed they caught the Golden State Killer. I am very interested to learn more about this case.
What are some books you read, finished, and plan on reading soon? Any of the books above? I would love to hear from you guys in the comments below!
